"Our approach has always been … we look at the process, as with Marcus and McFeely, it’s simply the same thing in the way that The Winter Soldier relates to Civil War, and the way that Civil War relates to Infinity War. These two movies will also relate. There’s a narrative thread that is connecting these films, but at the same time, there’s an independence in terms of what the experience is or where the story goes. It isn’t a true two-parter, and I think the two-parter concept came back when Marvel decided they were going to culminate the MCU, it was going to be a two-movie deal. But as we developed the movie, in execution, it ended up being more of two singular expressions."

Lots of questions about that. Could they defeat Thanos in this one? We know characters will die in this one, but are they main or secondary characters? Will A4 focus on building a new team based on a new threat/villain?

Lots of questions about that. Could they defeat Thanos in this one? We know characters will die in this one, but are they main or secondary characters? Will A4 focus on building a new team based on a new threat/villain?

They filmed both movies together and they come out a year apart. It's not part 1 & 2, but the movies still link. There is no way they can fit Thanos gathering the stones/gems for the gauntlet, carrying out his plans, then the heroes fighting back. No way that can be done in 2 1/2 hours. Unless they only show him retrieving a few then magic presto he has the other 3 or 4 in quick flashbacks. And we don't even know where or who has the soul stone, rumors or not, it better not pop up in a 5 minute montage/flashback. If this all takes place in 1 movie, then quite frankly this movie will suck big time.
