I was thinking maybe Thanos is pretending to struggle just to mess with Steve

Well, Thanos pretended to "struggle" in the comics when he was only using one of the stones to give the heroes 0.5 % chance of beating him, but he did it to impress death. Because if he instantly made all the heroes disappear, it wouldn't be very impressive. In this movie, it seems there is no death, and he's not trying to impress anyone, so why not just get rid of the heroes? I have no idea.

I like the new armor. It looks better than the one from GOTG.

I really like the larger Magneto style helmet. The one from GOTG was too small and made Thanos look like he belonged on the short bus.
