You jest, but if he wasn't Heimdall, he would unironically be the best choice. People forget it, but Blade is half-Latverian half-AfroAmerican raised in England. And Elba is British. Plus, he's a 1.90m dude with great acting chops who can look the part of the "cultured badass". Boyega's so damn ugly, it's not even funny. Not to mention he's an insecure manlet.

PS: Not to mention that Elba got cucked, making him /ourguy/.

GR: SoV is the closest. Maybe Losers and Dark Tower too. But anyone can learn choreography. Elba's a talented actor, he most certainly would be able to pull it off. It's not like they're gonna turn Blade into some IP:Man ****.

A man has to scour the forums every once in a blue moon, leaving the comfort of the collectibles section.

It's a continuous shot showing Widow doing her usual stripper dancing fighting and besting Corvos Glaive by stabbing him and kicking him like trash. What more do you need see?

Do you know what happened before? What happens after? It's a cool scene that is a draw for audiences that has no narrative connotation which is why they shared it. Nothing is wrong with her being able to handle her own within the constraints of the universe they have built, even if her valid fighting styles are flashy for cinema. You're making this movie worse for yourself by extrapolating from 30 seconds of it.

It’s a powerful alien entity who has conquered worlds vs a 93 pound human woman. Yea I’m pretty sure that has a right to be nit picked. It’s a stupid scene. And it makes these characters seem weak when they are supposed to be powerful aliens who hang out with the greatest threat in this universe. Doesn’t got to be comic accurate but some peer levels in this are just silly.

Superman couldn’t save his own mother the way he saved Lois from that fall, harley Quin went alien fighting with a bat, handgun and acrobat. Batman broke his back, fixed his back, traveled at light speed and survived a nuclear blast. Hawkeye .....nvmd hawkeye . All im saying is from what we previously got from comic book movies, bw kickin an aliens *** with 2 other buddies doesn’t bother me one bit.

Certainly that's fine for a comic - but we've long established that the films rebalance a lot to make it actually enjoyable. You can't directly take a comic to screen, it's boring. If Thor was full comic powered he'd just **** on everyone without blinking an eye - that's not fun to watch, there's no story to be told there. No reason not to accept some BS when you accept that Banner wasn't dead from levels of gamma ray exposure he received.

Let our heroes have an upper hand for a minute before they get demolished, as promised, in this film. They are Earth's mightiest heroes, after all. Show that.

If you're in marketing, you pick the scene that makes people's favorite characters seem powerful, not the ones you've never seen before. That's why this was released early. And again, this has no context. Were they caught off guard? Did they just fight Scarlet Witch and Vision (two which would go up against them more fairly?) If they abide by fairly realistic biology, they too can get tired lol.

Plus this just as easily can be thrown into the first example of Glaive's abilities of immortality with so long as his weapon is unbroken. Maybe he doesn't give a **** and will stand right back up after this clip once he's healed up. Midnight's "get up" is demanding, not begging. She probably knows he can and will be fine.

Point is, it's silly to get your knickers in a twist over an action sequence with no film context. I can clearly make as much of an argument for as there is against, which validates the ambiguity of context.
