Avp ancient and avp elder

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I was just looking at them. The sides of the biomask look the same. Are they supposed to be the same many years apart?

that was never explained. they just had similar masks/armor. maybe they're supposed to be the same. maybe the production/fx guys had to make due with a limited amount of different looking props they could make. if you want them to be the same, they are. if not, they're not. there was a pred in AVPR with the same mask. you're asking for a lot of character/story development from the guy who made Mortal Kombat.

In AVP the flashback Predator might be the Elder. When Elder rolls up we get a nice shot of the Bio as if we are meant to take note of how it looks.

And it would make sense that the guy who is leading the young bloods is one from the past who we seen succeed.

But i think its just speculation. probably true and it would be nice if it was but nothing concrete.

this always crossed my mind when watching the movie aswell.
i think it did with most people.
so i would like to think that it was meant to represent the same predator...

The Ancient that succeeded in the hunt in AVP has a similar bio as Scar Predator. The one that had the same bio as Elder died amongst the 3 that failed their hunt and blew everything to smithereens.

EHHH, every Predator in the flashback had one of 3 different Bios. The two ancients, and Scar's. I'm still going to believe one of them was the Elder.
