Yeah, if that had been the trailer for a REAL AvP movie (with obvious visual improvements), I'd piss myself in joy.

Predators should be like freaking Jedi, mowing through groups aliens, a single alien shouldn't even be much of a threat to them.

Seriously the visuals in this are just as bad as in AVP and AVP-R. Just another Event Horizon styled setting, boring and uninspired.

Dude...its a $500 fan film....seriously. I mean, trash the story, and the acting, but man, those effects....for a tiny little movie, made by a dude who's had that softwere for...a few mouths, is pretty amazing.

Good for you. Point is, while the setting isnt anything unique, its what I WANT for an AvP film....in space. Abondon ship or not, I want it IN space. Plus, just because the setting isnt special, doesnt mean everything else will be cut and paste. Not saying im sure it'll be good, see the film S.E.E.D for refrence on cool looking, but lackinge in everything else.

I say it's beyond good for a just a fan film. To make something like that with the budget of 2 or maybe even only 1 and a half hot toys predators to make a fan film like that is dedication and hard work. Got my props.

While I don't believe it should be like a Jedi, I DO think that, since they're race of hunters, who live for hundreds of years... the experience they gather, the agility they have, and the speed they can run, do I think ONE Alien should give them a huge problem?

Like how Chopper died? I would have though that maybe their helmets would pick up surrounding sounds or something. But I totally agree that a Xenomorph should not be a match for a Yautja one on one may it be a blooded or unblooded.

An Alien can kick a Predator's booty across the floor. Thank god Anderson showed this. Wish he had the deaths split up a bit, but yeah. Aliens can kill a Predator, and a Predator can kill an Alien.

Without weapons sure but not a fully geared up predator in my opinion.

Right, just like how Chopper died. The Alien did what it should be portrayed doing best. Chopper was distracted, the Alien was stealthy, and ^^^^in offed his ass.

Now, if we could throw a Predator, and an Alien in a good sized room, with the Predator being fully armed, and aware... the Alien ain't gonna make it out alive. Aliens don't have the advantages with being a civilized race capable of making, and understanding the technology a Predator has... and while I am sure I could have worded that better, I didn't. So shut up.

It comes down to this, Aliens are far more primitive in the way they live than a Predator is, Aliens have their tales, claws, and exoskeleton, BUT a Predator has many different weapons, including long range ones at it's disposal. You put a man, and a pissed off lion in an enclosed room, give that man an M-16, and it's the same deal. If the Alien/lion is quick enough to get a kill, it'll happen... if not, it'll get blown apart.

IF he has a nice shoulder canno, then yeah, Alien is dead. But in Close Combat, the Alien can win. Aliens use steath, and sneak attacks. Not running full speed into a enemy.

Totally agree with you there, and if a movie would put the Aliens in like THAT, I'd make a lot of people very happy.

I favor the Predator, of course. BUT, at the same time, it'd be a lot different if the Aliens were intelligent in the movies, moved silently, and posed SOME of a threat.

To be honest, if both creatures were portrayed in the BEST light, I have no clue who'd come out on top.
