check out a trailer on youtube, it's a independent film, about a man named clay, whom has a heart conditon and is inlove with a girl name sam (jessica alba) and his mother disaproves of their love, he goes into surgery with his good friend operating on him, and he has anesthetic awareness. so hes awake during the whole operation.

anesthetic awareness, that is some creepy stuff.
Anasthesia awareness, or "unintended intra-operative awareness" occurs during general anesthesia, when a patient has not had enough general anesthetic or analgesic to prevent consciousness and the recall of events
This can happen 0.15% of patients undergoing surgery. To me, that is a little too high a percentage. That's just creepy, and I and will squirm my ass off during this movie.

This looks really good and Hayden looks like he's really acting in it!!
Yeah, it looks pretty good. And I also noticed that Hayden acts a bit better without a surrounding of green screen.
He did amazing work on "Life as a House" and "Shattered Glass" as well, this looks to be another good one for him. I saw a really good preview for it before The Mist this weekend, much better than the TV spots I have been seeing.

I always thought hayden was a good actor.. just not evil enough.. it's like a bunny trying to be evil.. could you guys imagine evil bunnies?

I saw this trailer and then one for Jumpers, another Hayden film - both films looked intriguing, but I'll still be seeing them despite his involvement, not because of it.

Both Jumpers and Awake look really good, I'll be seeing them both 'cause of that. One Sci-Fi one Thriller, good choices Hayden.

Hmmm.. Just watched the trailer. My impression is that it looks like an interesting premise for a movie but it looks like one I would spend $1.50 on to see.

I saw Awake this past weekend and it is a really good flick! Great cast too, Jessica Alba, Terrence Howard and Lena Olin among others. Solid performances all around, especially by Hayden Christiansen; that and a good story with some cool twists makes this a movie worth seeing.
