Only a portion of the total edition size will be available for pre-orders. Thats wonderful. I wonder what people would say if Sideshow made you pay $50 a year to be able to pre-order stuff?

Ok you didnt understand my point. Before you could be a regular member or a premium member and you ordered at the same time. I got the PGM to have access to raffles to items that I wouldn't be able to normally get except on ebay. I just felt that the PGM should have been able to pre-order before the regular members. Even if it was a couple hours it would helped.

Yes you probably did. Normally the punch or stamp your bagge so you can't get in line again. However I know at CIV people were able to wipe off the lil GG they wrote with a sharpie.

They started using a hole punch later on at CIV and all thru SDCC so I don't think that will help. It also depends on the badge if its a paper badge in a holder that won't help. CIV had laminated badges so that made it easier.

Well this is a small time show, they might not even have badges. A friend and I have already decided instead of picking up the preorders first, we're going straight for the venues booth where all spares will be sold...

I used my other email (same info except for that) and they charged me for a 2nd bust. Now I lookat my CC and I see 4 charges of $50 .. Hope I can get at least the 2 I have confirmations for.

Just a heads up I am not sure what they will do since it smaller but at all the shows where GG ran things they have been punching or marking badges so if your badge i marked you cant get another, pre-order or not. They will have badges all shows have some sort of badge if no they would have no way to control who is supposed to be there and who isn't.

They charge imediatly but they will go and find the duplicate orders and cancel them. If I remeber correct they go off Duplicate Name/Address combo and also duplicate CC number. If you use the same CC twice they should catch it, or use the same Name/Address combo they catch it. Plus if they punch badges even if you sneak it by more then likely they will cancel it when you get there since you already got one.

Ohh PS they also check ID to pickup preorders so you cant use a fake name.

Cool! Thanks for all of the tips. I am bringing my wife to help out. I need to get at least four. 1 for me one for a fellow board member (dont ask this is on its way to Hawaii) *wink* and the other two well.....I am flippin the hell out of them!

I have two pre-ordered. You can pick them up at GG both. Baltimore comic con is handling the remaining 1500 pieces that weren't pre-ordered. So I will go to the pre order both last and wait in line for the non spoken for items first. So I imagine it is 1 per person at 2 different booths.

Wouldn't they still mark your badge after picking up the non pre ordered one. Then you'd be denied at the pre-order booth right???

Subtract 500 from that total for the box sets. They will only have 1000 extras at the most...

Thanks for the info mfoga. I know that's how things have been in the past. I'm just hoping that since this is a smaller show and that GG ISN'T doing the actual sales then i'll have a shot. It can't hurt to try...

I would say they'll mark your badge either way. That's what they did at SDCC. I got mine punched for my PO and a guy I know from another board got his punched for a non-po.

I hope 2 get one for retail but am figuring ebay is the way. I'm not gonna go pestering everyone on the boards to get me one.
