I am sticking to my guns. I regretted buying the DVD theater releases and I am sure it would be double so if I bought the blu-ray... my DVD EE will get me through until that happy day.

Agreed. But I read that they plan on releasing the EE this time next year. Doesn't that sound so far away??? I guess they planned it because most people won't be able to hold out that long.

Yes, it's only theatrical, but Extendeds are coming.

Okay, I'm pissed now.... If this is a trilogy only release like the DVDs I'm going to flip out. I only want the first one! The other two will get watched one time, max. The original is one of my all time favorites though. Why do they do this?? Well, I guess I know why they do it, but it still pisses me off!

I'm sure they will be released separately at some point, I've seen that happen with a lot of the other 'box set' movies.
