Or they'd offer a premium member double or triple for a sculpt and bypass the membership. Hell, even if they did get the membership, one recast would already make up for the fee.

Maybe so but it would still cost them an extra $30 every time and be a bother, not only that but in order to pay the payment will show a name...

Yes, there are only so many names or addresses or paypal accounts they can use for before they run out. Only if real names and real IP and street addresses are blacklisted will it do any good. It's too easy to hide behind endless screen names.

I understand your position, but I think if we keep making it as hard as possible for them to keep coming back, they will eventually
get tired of it and go away. The basic profile on this type; to make a quick buck off of other peoples work. To do it on the
path of least resistance. So by making that path a living hellhole to go down, it will make them start thinking, is
this really worth it. Is the payoff really worth all the trouble I have to go through.

So I say; if any of us know for sure...then we should make it our duty to give the ******-bags the smackdown.
Through the proper channels of course.....:lol

I agree. I'm can't stand a rat but in this case it's completely warranted. The harder it is for them, sooner or later it won't be worth the trouble. And if they are going to continue to be that relentless and resilient and keep trying, then it's only right for us to make it as miserably hard as possible.

We should make it that you can only get on interest lists if you are a premium member that way if a banned member wants to sell on here (alrdy in place) or get customs (not in place) they have to pay the yearly $30 charge, will definitely affect those who were banned and now have to pay another $30 everytime they rejoin to try and get casts for recasting or even to sell.

I agree with this too. It sucks for those who don't want to pay the fee for whatever reason (money is tight, they don't use the current benefits, just principle alone, etc.) but it does make sense. It gives the premium membership one more benefit making it more worth it and it would really sting the scumbags if they have to pay $25 for a new membership after every time they get banned; especially if people are on them and they get banned quicker and more often.

Another thing that Dave can take into consideration if this is ever to be stopped

Does anyone have a high res image or scan of the Fry Batter labels from the prop? I'm recreating the art and the only thing I can't make out legibly is the ingredients and nutrition section. Please PM me if you can help.

That makes sense to me. I'd support that. I do get awfully curious about these people that join within the last month or two and sign up for $600 custom projects. I do kinda feel it's one bad apple spoiling the barrel, but it seems necessary at this point to cut out the riff-raff.

I think the only real solution is to make Custom Sales visible only to Premium, that would cut down a lot. I've suggested once or twice to put the Rainman stuff in For Sale - Customs, but that seems to fall on deaf ears. You need to have one section be Custom stuff for sale, and one section be for people who post their custom figures. Right now, iminime and Rainman throw a big monkey wrench into how the Customs "For Sale" operate.

In any case, if someone else wants to report him, be my guest. I don't really want to send another report. . . the mods probably know me as 'that guy' that keeps reporting posts, soooo yeah.

Try The RPF, quite a few dudes have replicated the batter tubs in 1:1.

Don't sweat it, today I was that guy. Heat Nation officially booted. I had to do it once I realized he was in the Inigou's Alonzo thread ready to purchase. I couldn't bear to see that perfect Alonzo recasted, plus I know that he's dying for that sculpt and he's unworthy :lol

I didn't follow the talk about the custom commerce section but to be honest today was the first day I even looked at the custom for sale section. I do agree that sales should be in a separate section from showcasing threads, but doesn't "creations" and "interest" separate that properly? I think RM, Iminime, Robbie, Corrose, Nathan, Jake, Mr. E or anybody else offering a good or service should be in "interest" and "creations" should be used for people who want to share their custom work that is not for sale.

I told Dave to take a look in here and see what's being talked about because the sales to Premium Member's only thing is a good idea. He said that he agrees and would set that up but the customizers would end up limiting their audience which I'm sure none would want to do

I think it would really hurt the customs guys. I literally just bought a premium membership (to sell my custom stuff, that's it) and I've bought stuff from the Custom area several times. I have no need for creating blogs, giving or getting feedback, having gifs as my pictures, or anything that premium offers besides selling. I'm sure there are a ton more members like me who don't feel the need to be premium. I still don't care about being premium. :dunno
Yes, it would stop recasters, but I think it'd hurt sellers greatly. I myself probably wouldn't buy a premium account just to look at the customs area. Not trying to start an argument, I'm just throwing my opinion out there.

That was my train of thought as well. That's why I suggest the further separation of Creations and Commerce. Commerce would be Premium only.

I think the intention was that Interest would be a 'self-moderated' type of thing. That the OP would edit the thread prefix to FOR SALE when it moved past INTEREST, and then a mod would come along and move it to FOR SALE.

Not an argument at all but I honestly didn't understand the resistance when this came to life after the site revamp. A dollar doesn't go too far these days. I'm 25 bucks into it nearly every day after Starbucks, breakfast & lunch. (granted, I live in an expensive city but most places in the US aside from rural areas are similar in this way). I just think that $25 for the year is a drop in the bucket to support a site that many of us frequent and get so much pleasure from.

I do agree that it would hurt customizers if only PM's could buy. If it was a mandatory $25 to join the site from everybody it would give everyone access to buy, sell and have all the benefits while making life that much harder on recasters. As is, it seems that at least 8/10 Freaks have the membership anyway. Personally I think that would work like a charm, but then again requiring a mandatory membership fee in itself will open up it's own set of problems.

IDK, to me making a 3rd section to transfer things that moved past interest complicates things more. If "Creations" just stayed a showcase section and "Interest/For Sale" was the Commerce section, then that divides the two perfectly.

$25 isn't a lot, no. It's a fart in the wind in the long run. To me, it's needless spending. If the $25 was mandatory I wouldn't be here. :lol
I'm not frugal, I just have better things to spend money on. Mainly steak.

I've probably only bought something from Starbucks 5 times. Their chocolate coffee things are pretty ok but I'm not a coffee guy. I pretty much only drink water or sweet tea.

Chocolate coffee things = Mochas. My shiznit :rock

Can't man. All hope is lost for me. I'm a 2-a-dayer. It's what's running thru my veins at this point

grande ice green tea less ice no sugar is my go to. My starbucks reward is almost at gold and I started in May...it's so steep, much worst than this hobby :lol

You guys make me sick, I bet you guys drink cosmopolitans when you take your boyfriends to go see CATS. I drink double expresso plain
