Firstly my pictures will not do this piece justice. It is very detailed, beautifully sculpted and its massive. Weights a ton too. And i have to say one of the best packed parcel I have ever received. The box was a meter square (3.5 foot square), packed with beans. Then rapped in about 20 foot of bubble rap. It could have been hit by a nuke and survived. Big big thanks to JSAuctionservices for helping me out on this one.

Firstly with Bowens Hulk and the original Cave Troll to give you an idea on scale.

The wings and whip are detachable. One of the best pieces in my collection.

Nice custom statue, how it end up costing ???

I think JS posted it somewhere but over a grand plus postage. Well worth it IMO.

Congratulations Bullseye! I'm glad your Balrog arrived well for you,
and I'm happy that you're pleased with it. You are the first person
to receive theirs, with others following very soon.

Now you need the bronze one Bullseye...........

JS :)

As taken from the link that JS provided:

"Price each - $1,200 USD + s/h, which could be between $200 and $300 USD.
(If you're located in Europe or a nearer area, it'll likely be much less)
If paying with paypal, 4% will be added to the grand total to cover the fees.
If paying with a paypal eCheck there would be no extra fees added.

Also available is the statue finished in COLD CAST BRONZE for $1,750 + s/h.
There will be only 15 bronze statues total, and this edition will be serial
numbered separately from the painted version. "

I might be the only one to not find this all that impressive. Honestly from what I see of that it has not much detail in it. It doesn't look very high quality either IMO. I'm not trying to bash this but this piece doesn't evoke any emotion from me regarding my love towards LOTR.

Cheap camera and bad photography. There is plenty of detail in this piece believe me.

I gotta go with Josh on this one. Being a Balrog fan myself, I am not too impressed with it. There are those out there that will like it. But it definately, in my eyes, is not worth $1200. To each their own.

Of course people are entitled to their opinion. But in mine its $1200 well spent. Fantastic detail, beautifully sculpted, weighs a ton and matches in well with the SS/Weta line. At the end of the day its my opinion which matters most.:D
