I have been getting back into 1/6 in a big way, but I do love my life size pieces. My birthday is coming up in August and since my GF does not encourage my collecting habits and wont buy me toys, I will ask for a good digital camera instead so I can take some nicer pics.

You seriously need to get the Rambo PF,i was complaining and crying about the weird stance before i recieved it but in hand it looks so awesome,i also have the HCG 1/4 Rambo 4 on order.
For a while i have been thinking about getting a Roger Moore Bond,because he was my absolute favourite and grew up with his Bond Movies like Moonraker,View to a Kill as my 2 favourite Moore movies.But really,a Bond doesn´t fit in in my collection so i never bothered getting anything.

As for the Rambo PF, I am still in that undecided mindset and to be honest, I never fully enjoy a piece that I am undecided about. I will wait it out a little while, to see how i feel. I don't want t be only half stoked for a RAMBO collectible...thats just not right
A View to a Kill is one of my favorites, though probably the most poorly received, only behind Moonraker (another one of my faves).
I would pick one up, the headsculpts on the Bonds are all pretty top notch, except for the Thunderball Bond (which you cant see his face when covered with all the equipment). Some food for thought i guess...

It all comes down to how big of a fan you are of Rambo,i am a hardcore fan so i don´t regret a second for buying it.If the stance bothers you like it did with me before i got it,you will be surprised how much better it is in person.
That Vader looks to be even taller than Drago.

Drago and Vader are about the same size in terms of height, but Drago is MUCH heavier because of the rubber suit. I could not believe the size of that figure when i got him back in the day

Finally got a chance to set up my Bond shelf. I am very happy with this display. It was too late to really pickup ALL the old Sideshow bond figures, so I limited myself to 5 of my most favorite.
Basically it came down to character, movie, costume and how well they looked all together. I feel it sort of represents an era of Bond that I relate to the most. I particularly love the gadgets and the quirkiness of the villains. The costuming on these figures were also a little more then the typical black tux, which always struck me as being a little boring. I already have the PF of Connery in a black tux anyways, so I thought I would try on a little color.
Also, I realize that all the new members go Hot Toys crazy when they first get into this, but they owe it to themselves to check out some of the older figures from yester-year. While they may not excel in costume accuracy or perfect movie sculpt, I think they have a lot of charm that is hard to ignore.
PS - Scuba gear Connery is freakin amazing!
