what's the proper way to go about switching the heads around? just got my BR Joker today.

they pull off. and if the inside ring pops out just glue it back in. if you pull back at an angle i feel they come off easier. you can soak it in hot water for like 30 seconds but ive never had to do that with mine and i switch heads constantly

Roughed up the mask to make it closer to the film.

the idea behind the mask from the movie isnt that it got thrown in the mud, its more like it got kicked around on the concrete. theres a lot of paint missing and a lot of scrapes and scratches.

This is my replica

I agree that your perhaps dirtied it a little too much. That replica is AWESOME!! I was going to get one too from Tyler, but I had no funds spare. :(

This was how distressed I made mine when I received it:

If you look closely in the film, when he's not in direct sunlight (as is common in the scenes due to the outside shots and the large windows in the bank) you can see the mask actually has a great deal of dirt and staining to it along with its scratches and dings:

So i just went with dirtier and rougher rather than just rougher.

Here is my BR Joker with my V1 repainted Joker on the shelf.
