This guy painted up his masked head with flesh tones for a possible Cop Joker kitbash:
Now thats one i hope HT would do,i really want a Police Joker
I have no doubt that this is absolutely true.
I guess it's something that as I'm getting older and feel myself drawn to 'quality over quantity' and would rather have one excellent 12" figure than a wave of 'pretty good' 6" figures, it feels more like a collectible and less like a toy. There's also the space saving aspect. And there's certainly been a lot of properties that finally interested me pop up recently...my first 12" figures were the LOTR ones. Plus the ever increasing level of quality you can get, especially from folks like Hot Toys. Where as before, 12" figures sorta seemed like a totally separate arena of toy collecting, they didn't look that great..the clothes were dumpy and the sculpts were soft and cheap looking, now they feel like the ultimate achievement in 'toy' manufacturing. The high-quality tailoring, the sculpts and paint, articulation...it's like having a mini-character sitting on your shelf and less like a doll.
So now I find myself wanting to pick up every Indiana Jones figure, the new Hellboy figure, all the Dark Knight figures...and that's not even considering going back to see what I might've missed from Hot Toys. I'm scared.
I need a new job, one of those fancy, high-falutin' six-figure jobs.
I do not own any Hot Toys figures, though I've been watching them for a while and have no doubt that they're offerings are head and shoulders above just about everyone else. I can certainly understand the price, it's definitely not a case of balking at what appears to be an outrageous price tag.I've purchased everything except the original costume batman since I had the takara but I'm gonna get the original suit too. I want the full line up .
Do you have any hot toys figures ?. If you don't you will realise straight away why there prices are so high. Their attention to detail is astonishing.
I think all the figures are well worth the price and to represent the joker the best way possible you need both anyway.
BUY THEM ! STARVE FOR A MONTH ! DO WHAT YOU MUST !.
Awesome fig, though I can't wait for my 1/6 collection to begin courtesy of the Dark Artist!

I'd be happy to starve for a month, the biggest obstacle would be trying to explain them to the girlfriend.
LOTRFan will look up and shout ...." DA , is that my figure yet ? "
And DA will whisper .... " No ".
Sorry couldn't resist.
Should be permanent for the Star Wars section.
All good advice...I'm definitely begin selective so far..it took LOTR for me to finally take the plunge and purchase any, and I only collected LOTR until Indiana Jones. As impressive as some 12" figures are, I knew that I couldn't buy them as casually as 6" action figures. But it's not my fault if some of my favorite franchises are now getting the 1/6 treatment!Dont' we all dude.... don't we all.
I feel your pain.
With money how it is at the minute for everyone too it adds even more pressure. The easiest way to stay alive in this hobby is forums like this.
Great deals always pop up in the for sale section.
Its just best to be very selective. Even though I am never selective.
Just think of which movie , game or whatever you like the most , collect those and then is you can afford the rest get em.
About the little 7-8 inch figures too. I used to have a huge collection of them , I sold them all as soon as I recieved my first hot toys figure.
They look like Mcdonalds toys in comparison.

looks like it's sewn to the vest on the top of the shoulder where the back and front panels are connected.
Is it just me, or does that look like a weird Dane Cook?
Holy Shat!My Joker was sendt from Toys 2 26th,sendt out of canada the 27th,and allready arrived Norway today and cleared customs,1 day overseas???God damn,i didnt even ask for the fastest shipping method.Seems like mine will be here tomorrow.
From what I can tell they go completely around, it's completely green even on the back, and to me it looks like it's sewn to the vest on the top of the shoulder where the back and front panels are connected.
