Me too. I'm in the minority, but I think it gives the sculpt much more personality.

Plus it reminds me of when he looks at the old guy right before he says, "You remind me of my father."

Its not that most don't like the way there painted , its just in terms of taking photos of the figure and more importantly posing it the way they are painted it limits alot of things that " could be " cool.
We will see anyway , I know someone will have the eyes repainted.
I am posing him like in the photos below and with the way money is now I have decided I will be leaving the sculpts paint apps.
I can see the problems people are having though.

Oh yeah, it definitely limits your options if you want to take a whole bunch of pictures in varying poses of it. I tend to find a pose I love and leave the figure in it, though, so the eyes are perfect for me.

Yeah, I understand why people prefer the straight on eyes, but as I said in the other Bank Robber thread, I think although you won't get as many poses out of the posed-eyes version, the poses will be that more interesting to me. So I'm glad they chose this paintjob. :)

BTW, the new pics from Toy-World rock. :rock

It might sound weird, but once I get the figure in-hand it's going to be a little strange seeing that the head is 1/6 scale. What I mean is that all the pictures and stuff have been so larger than life, and the sculpt is so ^^^^ing great, that it being so small is going to blow my mind. That make any sense?

It is interesting about that. I think that's what makes the figures look so much better when you have them in-hand. Things just look so much cooler when they're small.

I own almost 100 figs and I am still amazed everytime I open one up for the first time.

ps pics of BR Joker's socks please. :wave
