Lonnie I think regardless of the comments I keep getting I'm dead set on a PT Cruiser. The prices on them have dropped a bit compared to a few years ago so here is my chance.

Yes they are!!! I have a 2001 Ltd Ed that I had to wait 8 months to get after ordering, and I have loved it every day of the last 6 years!
8 months. Damn. I remember when those things were hard to find, a dealer near me had tons of them.

They are good cars, and have very few repair issues. If you like a LOT of power, get the Turbo!

So I've heard, thanks for the heads up Lonnie and Ed.
Already have my eye on one (Turbo) at the Bluebonnet dealership in Boerne Texas.

Yeah, I ordered in April of 2000 when they just began getting popular! 120 people behind me at the dealership I ordered from, had their orders canceled because there weren't enough to go around!

Hmmm. Maybe I will get burned for saying this but if you want reliable you should definitely go with a Honda or Acura. I have had an Integra for like 5 years without one single problem. I love it.

Toyota is excellent too. I have owned Toyota's since '98 and have never had any problems.

They run great, get great mileage but cost to much.

I agree, Toyotas last and last. Repairs suck so that is why I went Acura. Not saying that all other car makers sell crappy cars but there are reputations to make yourself aware of when buying a car.

Some how I knew you owned a jeep. :)
It's a great surf truck.
LOL, its not mine, but I have a lot of friends into Jeeps and I know that new ones are nice cars but they are not true Jeeps. If I had a surf car it would be a old VW Bus.
