My sisters don't have any of their Barbies any longer. I was curious if anyone has a side by side shot of some modern Barbies and 1/6 figures.

Would it look absolutely horrible to use one of those bodies for a shorter/petite woman? I know they're skinny, but are they overly unrealistic? I'm thinking the neck, hands, and feet would be the biggest issues with scale. I'd like a Fiona to round out my Burn Notice figures and if you watch that show, you know most (if not all) female action figure bodies just won't do.

I've seen them often as I've done some work with Barbie product and they're all pretty cheap. You could get some great outfits off them especially the vintage or collector lines but for the body i'd use a HT a buck cy girl or whatever else over a Barbie body

I find that the Volks Neo bodies work well with the Barbie clothes and the heads connect to the neck with little or no modifications. People have used the cy girl bodies for the super-hero figures that Mattel puts out for the Barbie line but will take some modifying.

Those bodies are all better I agree, but I'm looking for a slender frame and a smaller bust size than those all have to offer. I was just curious if there were pics. A quick Google search gave me nothing.

I looked on eBay and the busts were huge so I assumed they were all that big. Kinda pricy. After work I swung by Target and checked out the Pink aisle again and stumbled across some articulated Barbies. $10. I bought one to take home and compare. I like it. The head is oversized and smiley. Found an old 21st Century Toys villainess head. Did a quick head swap and it looks good for my bash.

Thanks for the info on the bodies. The Volks Neo is new to me!
