renegades took me awhile to get into it, but I don't mind it. Resolute was hands down the best though.

Yeah, renegades was alright. Has a ton of snake eyes action acting more the ninja than commando. It filled in the gap and was fun to watch; I honestly didn't have any expectations.

It's funny, the series is on hiatus but at SDCC 2011; the Hasbro booth had a huge GI Joe renegades storm shadow graphic on the ceiling that looks a lot close to the original.

It's a lot second guessing so I don't know; maybe they're switching things around for the second season since the lead character designer passed away.

After you fill up on the old ones, you should check out G.I.Joe Resolute. Really cool update and it touches on each of the main characters from both sides. It takes some significant liberties with the old story, but I still found myself wishing there wasa lot more when it was over.

Thanks, I will have to check out Resolute net.

Oops...net=next. I'm always watching over my shoulder for the grammar police. I'm still scarred from my grade 5 english teacher whacking me with her yard stick for miss-speling.

Hey, Mr. Paul, you can amend your previous post by hitting the edit button at the bottom of said post. I'm always rereading my posts right after I make them to be sure my grammar and spelling are correct.

:lecture

Edit: See, I just did it right there, and added more stuff to my post.

Thanks ...just like having an eraser.

For those not following the "Ask Sideshow Collectibles" thread an SSC rep posted that what we were perceiving as a "nail" was in fact white resin showing through a broken crack in the glasses. Obviously the final piece won't have that.

:dunno :lol

Blew it up and fudged with the contrast. You can completely see the arc for the bridge in the glasses both top and bottom, as well as the nail (and the shadow from said nail/pin/whaeveryawannacallit):

So was the nail/pin just there to hold the glasses together? :lol

I'm usually someone who doesn't hesitate to jump to Sideshow's defense when I see bull____ posted about them, but here, something's rotten in Denmark, and it ain't the boardies. :lol

Once again, who cares? The fact is we've gotten updated pictures showing no nail and confirmation that it won't come that way.

<-- This guy. I don't like being fed Greek salad and told it's a Cobb salad when the difference is obvious. I'm happy as a ____ing clam there's no nail in unseentango's pics, but that doesn't mean there isn't one in the proto shots. :huh :lol

Well I guess that'll just have to keep you up at night then.

EDIT: But why are you happy the finished piece won't have a nail? You planning on picking up a non-articulated statue of a GI Joe character?
Why? Does it chaff you that I collect more than just 12" figures? :dunno :lol
