Baroness Premium Format [High Res Pics in First Post]

SSC been having a number of QC problems (mainly with PFs) over the last 2-3 years. Rogue just happened to be one of the worst of them.

I have bought many pf's the past 2-3 years and I just must be lucky, because I have had no issues whatsoever other than the occasional arm, base, switch out head etc that may have needed a replacement, which was done pretty quickly

To name some pf's I have or owned recently
Sabretooth
Gambit
Captain Hook
Evil Queen
Red Skull
She Hulk
Ms Marvel
Mola Ram
Leonidas
Emma Frost (with the exception of the planned bad paint on the face)
Gollum
Black Cat
and Cobra Commander is looking perfect so far.

I think people associate bad QC with sculpts they don't like.
And really Rogue wasn't as bad in hands, yeah the eye shadow/eyes/lips and neck problem was bad, but they are having it corrected, it still looks good from a distance, the butt patch job also is not as bad as everyone overly exaggerated it, yeah you can't floss her butt but it still looks nice.

Alot of collectors like to complain, and sometimes with this hobby there needs to be an acceptable limit on qc, otherwise I am sure most people collections would be pretty small, if they are ALWAYS waiting for that perfect piece.
I do agree that 6+ years ago quality was slightly better, but I am still very happy with many of the pieces I get from SS.

Probably, not saying they were all perfect, I have plenty of issues with mine, but just waiting on a replacement, and that is ok with me, as long as they are correcting the issue.

Yeah, and the pictures (but not the thumbnails) of the CC PF have reverted to the non-chrome prototype pics. The two shots of the hooded portrait are still the newer ones.

There's no listing page for the regular right now on the Baroness. Sideshow's site has been so screwy of late...

I've noticed that listings for the Regular Edition of several GI Joe and LotR items have disappeared (including Hawk and the Black Dragon Ninja). Looks like the only instance where Regular edition items are still being offered are those where the Exclusive editions are currently sold out (Rock & Roll, Zartan, Crimson Guard, CC PF). Even the Regular editions of Dusty, Stalker, and the Viper have been removed.

Its reasonable given fact that all "hot" SSC female 1:4 scale statues are ES of 750 anyways.

yeah this is one of the few pieces I could care less about es, I have been dying to get a Baroness statue for about 15-18 years, before I even collected statues I wanted one of her.

Damn, man. I wish I could afford multiples! A custom in red crimson outfit would be awesome.

Anyways, I've never cared about ES on anything I bought. I bought it because I thought it was cool.
