Seems inspired by the Count Dooku/ Asajj Ventress statue by Gentle Giant, I believe? The Dooku Asajj one is better. The problem, as Dino addressed, is that Baroness is too subservient here. Her manner is more aggressive than that. More likely she would be staring him in the face. She also seems too short. I don't recall that much of a height discrepancy between her and Destro. I don't really see an issue with her outfit, though. She might wear that.

I'm pretty sure it was based on this piece of artwork, at least according to the artist and his comments regarding the sculptor.

It's the same sculptor that sculpted the SS piece anyways.

I doubt it's gonna be anything worthwhile. Sideshow's Facebook page is doing a weird comparison between Baroness and their Jessica Rabbit statue; and I saw something similar for another pair of older releases (I can't think of their names atm)

I think it would make little sense for SS to release another variant if they still haven't sold out on the EX for this piece.

Elektra comiq had 2 variants made, and the red was in stock for quite some time

It definitely is a long shot, but maybe since it got so much good feedback so far, they may whip together a red version. They did it for Hulk recently, and they used to do it alot more before.
