Batman: Arkham City - Spoilers Allowed!!

I desperately want Nightwing, Red Hood and Deathstroke to have major roles, since Black Mask and Hush are practically guaranteed to have significant parts. I keep thinking about Deathstroke in a boss battle though. Batman can't exactly beat him 1 on 1. I guess they could let you fight him for a bit, and then have a cut-scene where Batman, Nightwing, and Robin jump him to take him down like they did in infinite crisis. otherwise, this would happen

This kinda makes me wish they put Deathstroke in The Dark Knight Rises instead of Bane. I don't care if he's a Titans villian mainly. He'd be a far better opponent that Bane.

Nah, I wasn't even a big fan of the Catwoman missions. I felt they were distracting really. Batman works best alone, he even states that in the game and I think that was Rocksteady's way of telling us that. So if we do get Robin or Nightwing invovled in the actual story, it will probably be seperate DLC side missions like Catwoman and not a co-op.

Technically he isn't. He's above Batmans level, as well as Nightwing and Robin. Batman beats him easily in popularity though.

I agree. I think side missions would be better ... even Batman can't be in two places at once. Co-op for challenge maps might work, though. Not in-story, though.

I agree. Though it would be cool to have some Co-op challenge/predator maps. I say keep the main story single player.

Despite many saying he works best alone, he needs help. I find it quite weird how many like to brag and say Batmans the best hero because he's just a normal man and all, yet they expect him to protect an entire city by himself like he's a deity. Thats completely impossible and absurd for a man to accomplish.

Even games like Uncharted 1-3 have Nathan Drake running around with 1-3 people at his side. It doesn't matter that Drake doesn't have the fighting skills and gadgets, what matters is the sense of having others to interact with. This isn't Resident Evil where having two people will lower the scare level.

Being able to beat the hell out of 100 or more enemies on screen at once with Nightwing, Robin, and anyone else at your side (Damian won't be there so, Batgirl, Huntress?) is something that shouldn't be overlooked. That sounds like a great pre-final battle climax scene if you ask me. Have 100 or more enemies attempting to beat the living crap out of all of you at the same time. How about team counters and takedowns?

I don't really think the game sould be co-op. I think they should keep it single, and have you with the others quite a bit (mainly towards the end). If they give the other characters their own side stories, it'll make people care about them and the way they fight more.

I've heard rumors that a DLC Playable AC Joker might be coming though, so I hope its true! Give him Regular, Sick, and Animated skins and I'll be pleased.

I don't think Clayface would be doable ... too much like Green Lantern. You can't have the player take the identity of a character that can create/mold himself into any shape just by thinking about it. Too difficult to program.

Playing as one of the gangsters, though -- like Two Face or Penguin -- would be cool. Having a series of objectives that you have to accomplish as a villain or two, while avoiding Batman, would be an interesting twist. I actually didn't like the Joker Challenge Maps that much, though. Joker isn't much of a fighter. Challenge maps would've been better with a villain that can hold his own in the ring ... like Bane, or Freeze, or Croc, or Two Face or something. Joker's not too good for combat or sneaking around.

I was surprised at how well they did Catwoman.

Her uniqu gadgets, moves and travelling system were great.

I'd like the next game to featurw expanded roles of playable batman-verse characters. Having a system where you can change from Batmans story to playing as Nightwing for his story and Robin and Huntress for their stories would be excellent, they'd have to be longer and more meaningfull than Catwomans missions though.

Even having a DLC episode where your in future gotham and hand over the Cowl to mcguiness for his story would be ace

I'm sure SnakeDocs rabid love of the Excellent Beyond Cartoon would make it an instant buy for him.

I would've liked Co-op in some aspects. Take the Iceberg lounge challenge map that came with the CE. Here you are, fighting an endless onslaught of enemies, and the fact that you're a single person that just took out 200 thugs makes you feel like a badass, but imagine playing through a map like that with a partner, doubling the number of incapacitated thugs, incorporating each others combos into one big super-move. I just think it would be awesome. As for Batman not being two places at once, who said that he'd have to go? They are sidekicks after all, their job is to follow him around, follow his orders, and sometimes assist him.

I think with what's been mentioned above, co-op would be interesting. If they did do multiple characters with their own missions, it would be cool to have another player (online) doing their own missions and you would come across each other while moving from location to location since you're on the same map.

Just imagine gliding as Batman and seeing nightwing grapple in the distance and Catwoman leaping from building to building. Of course, you'd be able to rendevous for co-op missions as well.
