PFs are statues so they're not poseable. They are way bigger and better than 1/6 figs.

I wouldn't necessarily say bigger...although the bats pf still beats TDKR fig. However if HT bring out a Keaton 1/4 could get interesting on this thread.

Although I agree re the 1/6 figs

Weird we would get another PF Batman before a Robin or Nightwing.

I'm really counting down the days until a Nightwing is revealed.

I will say this though about the head turn. Sideshow left some money on the table because of it. As minor an issue as some feel it is, I bet there are few if any people here that have this on preorder who would not have preordered it if he was looking straight ahead. Whereas there are more than a few that didn't preorder this because the head turn was one of the main issues with the statue.

Just sayin', minor as it is to some, money was left on the table because of such an unusual and simple artistic decision on Sideshow's part.

I wouldn't have even mentioned any of this had bruce not brought the subject up again. Thank you, bruce! :hi5:

Im sure some money was left on the table but not to much. Fans who really want this and can AFFORD this will get him. The head turn is just a convenient out for the Nolanites.

At the end of the day the head turn is there for artistic license which I think most like. Unless you are buying this statue with film accuracy in mind/ as a collector of these films or Keaton, I don't think you actually care. If you do wait for HT...simples.

The vast majority of batman material (1960s/comics/Arkham games series/batman animated and nolanverse) allows batman to TURN his head. Therefore I would suggest Bruce is pretty much accurate with the above pithy response ;)

Considering one is from a movie and the other is a comic version, not really.

Yup!
And of course Bruce is right. This stupid head turn thing is so beyond dumb. Congrats to those who get it ( I had to pass in this guy), those who don't please stop whining

I have to say I'm a mild fan of keaton batman and didn't think this piece would strike my fancy but the more the look the more like, I actually like it alot more than the other PF batman, honestly think Sideshow took Bats and Sups PF in the wrong direction they are odd they cant decide if they want to be comic book or serious and sups is to old looking.

Considering one is from a movie and the other is a comic version, not really.

Well duh I know that, doesn't mean I didn't think we'd get another Batman PF, comic or movie version, so soon when the first one hasn't even been fully released yet.

Batman is an easy $$$$ maker though.

Just watched the Batman tonight with a beer and some popcorn. Great Flic! So many good quotes Stop the Press...Vicky Vale, Hello Legs, How much do you weigh, your my number one guy hahahaha.

Going back and watching it I thought Joker was a lot darker than I remembered. The scene where he murders Bruce's parents is very dark. Joker shoots the cop at the beginning, kills three mob bosses, one by gun, one by buzzer and one by the quill pen. He then kills over a dozen people with the store products concoction, then he goes on a crazed art craze and burns Vanessa's face with the acid, she then jumps to her death from despair. No telling if he killed people in the final gas attack. Dark, very Dark

And yes, the ex is a must, he takes out a thug early in the movie with it, in the middle he propels Vicki upward with it and at the end, he uses it to tie up and ultimately kill joker.
