I am honestly shocked this hasn't sold out yet with the (relatively) low ES. The only thing holding me back on this is the face... every thing else is flawless. I just see a real person in that sculpt let alone Keaton.

Yes, and the fact that it has been coupon eligible for about a month too. I thought it was a good ES, but many people may not get him due to how poor Reeve Superman came out as these two are a great pair.

Has nothing to do with Reeve IMO. I think many are on the fence about the look of this piece. I would most certainly like to see it in hand first.

Also agree that it doesnt have to do with Reeve. Ppl of this aren't necessarily fans of Reeve and vice versa. My thing was DAT Codpiece

I think its just about budgets. So many items are on p.o. right now the fan base can't afford it all.

Agreed. I would love this piece. Currently only getting comic Batverse and the Trinity. He's 26.5 inches tall, and I just can't imagine the size of that box. Honestly, it's timing for me. He's supposedly coming out right before Catwoman and a Wonder Woman, and I can't begin to justify all three at the same time, especially to my wife. I do love, and want this piece, but maybe in the future.

:exactly: I know I got 20 statues on P.O. atm... Even though I have a great paying job it's starting to push my limits... To be honest It wouldn't bother me if SS didn't release any new statues for the next year :)

I haven't collected in a while and even stayed away from the forum. I've noticed that the collecting business seems to be "dying" a little bit from what I can tell. SS seems to feel the need to spam us every other day with e-mails to sell their stuff. Just doesn't seem the same as before when it was full of excitement in almost every thread. Now it seems that a lot of threads are just dead except for a few.

Rising collectible prices, poor economy and over saturation I'm guessing. Remember six or seven years back when SS's 1/6 scale SW figure preorders were a big deal? The EX would sell out, servers would crash, we were excited to get our order placed before it sold out. Good times. I was struggling to fill my shelves with 1/6 scale goodness. Now when most figures are over $200 and not many want to lay down four or five bills on a statue, I can see it slowing down a bit.

Agreed. I mean, an amazing Spider-Man PF thread was started this morning at 11:00 AM and there's only 3 replies in it. I remember not being able to keep up with certain threads. It's just not the same as it was.

I didn't even see that thread. :lol Part of it may be that there's an over abundance of threads too. When I first joined I used to be able to visit all the threads in a short time so that when I clicked on the New Posts tab nothing showed up. Those days are long gone. :lol

Yeah everyone knew about that for quite awhile & it has been quite well discussed in other threads like "What To Expect in 2014" that thread shouldn't of been opened yet IMO because there isn't much more to discuss now until we see the Preview Pic's

I don't think this hobby has lost it's hype though were just getting spoilt at the moment & there is so much to discuss were before we would have one big announcement which we would talk about for ages. Now we seem to get one a week

Im planning on ss dying out which is why there is such a blitz right now. Maybe they see it coming too. If that ever does happen then owning ss pieces will b super elite

I doubt it. They seem bigger than ever IMO, I actually think there to big now if that makes sense

They're certainly a lot bigger than when I started collecting and their profile at SDCC recently has sent them BIG. This 20th anniversary year is the craziest I've seen it with almost weekly POs!
