Not huge difference. Mainly the Cowl is more angular on the Returns, the Symbol is more stylized on the 89' and the muscles on the 89' resemble actual human anatomy where the Returns suit is just kinda angled shapes.

Err... looks significantly different to me.

I'm really hoping they go all out on the mixed media for this one and not just a big chunk of polystone. The cape looks good from what little they're showing though.

Batman Returns costume is far better than the first one and the art is based on Art Deco, not only the costume, the whole Gotham City is a mixture of Art Deco and Gothic style. In my book Returns is the best Batman movie with all elements and the closest superhero movie which is based on comics. 89 is sure a classic and Jack Nicholson is the man and only Joker...

Sure it is but the atmosphere of the Returns is like a reading a Batman comic, at least I feel that way. But we all know that Tim Burton was never try to direct a realistic version so especially in Returns he created a world that Warner Bros thinks he has to take a rest sometime after the release of the movie

Tbh I think both suits look good, just partial to the 92 version because Batman Returns is my favorite movie of all time xD

Hmm. Not totally sure that is truth. 89 is great I do agree, but the Definitive Bman lies in the comic version. I suspect many can argue that the Comic version is THE Batman. AND I LOVE BOTH!

More popular than the comic version? Um, doubt it. I don't even think at this point it's the most popular movie version if you're counting the general public.

Yeah for real, no way 89 Bats is more popular than Nolan Bats these days. 89 is my fave too but the Nolan fans are rabid maniacs.

And more popular than the comic version? No way. I would've though this version would get a couple of thousand ES maximum. Maybe not even that.
