Both my box and base have 89 on them as per pics I sent my accuser. You are correct it's easy to alter base but harder to alter box. When it comes to Sideshow QC an item having the same number does not surprise me and therefore never doubt anything.

If I were you both I'd contact Sideshow. Im curious how rampant these kinds of problems are...

kinda defeats the "collectible" part of Sideshow Collectibles...

I see the new pics added on ebay but I still don't see evidence that its an exclusive as in 89 of 1250. Am I missing something?

There's some really ambiguous pics on the eBay auction. There's no clear pic of the base or anything

Was using my camera phone to take close up pics of base number. If you look carefully after the slash you see the number 1 which is the start of 1250

I tried asking you for clear pictures and these were all I could get. Never did you just take a pic of the bottom of the art box showing 0089/1250 or showing the 1250 on the statue base. You also only took pictures of the shipper box having the "exclusive" part cut off on the photos so you couldn't tell if it was there or not. It isn't that hard to just show the entire thing nice and clear. Leave no doubt man. This would've been settled hours ago if you did that. So for that, people are suspicious, myself included.

Also...Is that the crayon you used to changed the numbers on the base on the floor of that photo you posted? Bottom right.

It looks like 0080 made into 0089 to me. That 9 is suspect, looks like a 0 with an odd line added.

Congrats mate. Still looks a beast in any light. Mine finally arrives tomorrow and it's the most impatient I've been to get a piece in hand for a long while.

I'm hoping for 0039 so then it's not too much work for me to become an elite 0089 emulator.

BUSTED!!

That last number is too low to be in line with the other numbers, it goes perfect with the other 0s. Made into a 9 it looks much lower than the 8 and unnatural. Not saying it is, but that is what is looks like. Nice try though if that is what happened, what are the odds someone on a major forum gets the real 89 and anyone is ever the wiser?

btw, the type of grease pen that they write on the bottom with is incredibly easy to erase (common household item, voila), such a rank amatuer.

I ended auction last night as a forum member purchased item. In regards to the allegations i doctored the item that is not the case. This is exactly how I received item from Sideshow. As a member pointed out if I wanted to doctor item i would have certainly made a better job as all edition numbers are easily removed.
If i wanted to hide anything I could have easily not responded to requests for pics and would certainly not revealed myself as a forum-member considering the reputation damage this would bring me
