I knew this was gonna be around the $399 mark.
At least this has a different type of base, another nice base would have just been him standing on his bat symbol in a nice yellow. The detail on the base is nice and its mostly the same colour so surely they can't **** up the paint job on this one.
Pose is better then the one leg raised pose like every other statue. Ex is nice as well but it will be kind of hidden under the cape.
I do think the cowl around the chin is a bit thick.

Sorry but you can't say that.

You can say it's the most you like, but not the best... Hot Toys Batman is far better than this.

He can say that, and he will... lol

Everyone has their own tastes, but to tell someone they can't express an opinion on something is ridiculous :lol

Also, the best = the one you like most! And both are subjective

Nah, no way :pfft:

Please, look at the HS, and tell me is better than Hot Toys. YOU CAN'T.

As a big fan of Batman and Burton movies, my inner voice tells me I have to get that damn statue and that photo looks cool

BUT that does not!

The PF looks awesome. It makes me wish I actually liked the Keaton films, but I thought both were mediocre :(

I enjoyed '89 but thought Returns was a piece of ****; penguin pall bearers, giving his identity away (again!!), kitty litter, a kid's mini-replica batmobile to control the real thing, ughhh...

The head sculpt is better on the HT figure, nobody has denied that. However, we aren't just talking about the head sculpt, we are talking about the piece as a whole.

And, as a whole, I WILL say that this PF is better than the Hot Toys Keaton Batman. It has more presence, is more dynamic, and is a better representation of Keaton's portrayal as a whole.

The head inside the mask looks too small or the the cowl looks too large. Either way it looks weird. A shame too, the likeness looks great.

I love the stairs, that's for sure.

But I hate the HS, the turned neck and the belt position (too high)....and do you know what? I will buy it, it's ****ing Burton Batman, but it's not the best piece.

The HS is great but this will last decades longer than the HT version. I do not trust their rubber bodies, i'm selling my HT Bat and getting this one.

In that point, you're right. This statue will last forever (at least if the wife hasn't an accident with this).

Sorry to hear that buddy but RETURNS is the BEST BATMAN MOVIE ever in my opinion... It has a very comic like atmosphere which art direction is a mixture of gothic & avant-garde. Besides the characters are also played brilliantly by DeVito and Pfeiffer and the movie has the best liners of all time like:

-What do you want?
-Ahh, the direct approach. I admire that in a man with a mask. You don't really think you'll win, do you?
-THINGS CHANGE!

In your opinion it is, but in my opinion the Hot Toys does not even come close. For one the Hot Toys is a toy which in itself, IN MY OPINION, already puts that way out of this PF's league. I also think the PF as a whole looks much better than the HT and after seeing the video I think even the PF's facial sculpt even looks better.

I love Batman Returns also. In my opinion it is the second best Batman movie of all-time behind Batman '89.

It's a fun movie, but it's certainly no Dark Knight to me, DK being not just my favorite Batflick, but one of my favorite movies overall.

I recently rewatched Returns on TV last week and I remember loving it as a small boy '92. It was my first real introduction to Batman, the world completely drew me in.

As an adult...one, I'm surprised my parents took me to so that, lol. But the things that happened in that movie... I probably don't need to go farther than Batman strapping a bundle of dynamite to one of Penguin's henchmen, briefly smiling, and tossing him down a ditch to die. What in the world!?!?! And revealing his secret ID to Catwoman is no big deal, but the way it was done seemed so clever years ago, now it's silly and Batman should be too smart to fall into a verbal exchange of a trap like that. And then pulling off his mask for her while Max was watching, revealing his ID again within 10 minutes, was another uncharacteristic low point, especially since he intended for Max to live, Max would never have kept his secret. But it's just a movie...it was entertaining overall.

The PF is cool and I like Keaton as Batman, but I'm sticking to comic versions for now, hoping for a classic Blue eventually. But this one is tempting, and the EX is worthy since the grappling gun came from the movie 1st. Head looks just a bit too big though, but the original design wasn't the best to begin with. The head piece is rather stiff, I don't remember him being able to turn his head as much as he does in this PF, lol. He mostly moved his torso and eyes because of the limited head movement.
