WoW! I really like it! Much better than before. The colors are great! If SS would have made it this way I'd have kept my order!

They are both nice...I prefer the Black version myself...but any way you slice it IMHO this is one of the best Comic book hero busts to have period!...I love it...grats to all that own this...This one and Marvel Wolverine bust are my fav's

For me, I prefer the version of this as is (even with it's flaws, which it definitely has).

However, the blue version with the yellow around the bat looks fantastic and I'd love to have a cheap mini version of that!

That s a nice custom, but I do prefer the original. I know I grew up with the blue and yellow, buti have always preferred the black and grey outfit. Just looks more menacing to me.

I grew up with blue and yellow and remember being so upset with the costume change that I almost boycotted the comics. I now much prefer the black and grey outfit.

I felt the same way, and still prefer the blue/gray/yellow.. Obviously people born in 1968/1978/1988 are going to have different feelings about this. "my" Batman is of Neal Adams and the Super Friends era. My nephew grew up with Batman the animated series. I enjoy most every iteration of the character (with the exception of the recent "The Batman" cartoon) when the Arkham City game Was released I could not wait to get the '70s outfit to play in the game. I loved this bust when I ordered it, but I am absolutely going to have this done just like this custom and may need to seek out this fantastic artist that did this one.

My thoughts exactly. I was very happy when more and more artists started to draw him in black. He does look much more menacing in black IMHO.

If I was going to get a custom like that then I would want to have an original as well. However, that is just me. I am actually expecting another short ears bust in the future if this one sells well.
