Awesome bust! One of SS's best.

One question, did anyone else get a bust that has 4 holes, 2 in the base and 2 on the bottom of the bust itself? I tried searching the thread but of course, the search didn't bring anything up, thanks all...

Please post pics, you shouldn't have ANY holes on this thing.

Just a QUICK REMINDER to all the new owners to watch out for any smells or paint discolorations .... It is the only known QC problem hat I have heard of... But sometimes if you wipe a discolored area the paint will come CLEAN OFF the bust, and it can't be fixed... Something about the polystone being improperly cured so that it won't hold paint at all. Just a friendly heads up.

Would you suggest holding off on ordering one until they fix the issue with them, or is it just random?

I haven't heard of a case in awhile, November mayne, but not that every bust is bought by a member here though. To my knowledge every piece that suffered from this issue was returned and replaced so I would feel confident buying it knowing you could always get it replaced.

Ok, thanks for the two quick replies. I was going to order when it was gift card eligible at Sideshow, but when they ran out of their current stock they took it off that list. Is there anywhere else that may have it cheaper or any preowned ones floating around?

Update guys. Finally had time to open my statue.
He's great. Its odd though, the shipper said I got #50 but the actual statue and artbox says #47. Either way its all good.
Some minor paint rubs but nothing major. Now onto the pics.

Thanks guys. I really love it.
There is a small blemish at the bottom left of the bust and missing paint on the bat emblem. You can see that in the last pic of my post. Its near the tip of the wing on the right hand side? How/ what kind of paint can I use to touch this up?
Other than that I'm pretty happy with him.
