But darksied ex is like 500. this is 2000 with already like 9000 plus batmans out there now and with the same sculpt except just a new color and head which I do like more than the original heads. Also cost more than ever.
And it'll still sell out

Good edition size, but it is an expensive variant of a character they have available in 4 other versions (black/grey, '89 movie, AA, and soon Red Son).
And Nolan DK I'd imagine is on the way as well.
Pass for me. Insta-buy on Batfleck. And Nolan DK I'd imagine is on the way as well.
I can't wait for the Frank Miller version
Is that confirmed, or just speculation? That would be amazing.
At 42 seconds of this video (second panel up) all the way to the left, it looks like a Frank Miller bust, or head sculpt for a PF. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mm974A4JcMIs that confirmed, or just speculation? That would be amazing.

People want stuff that is rare. A statue with a low edition size tends to hold its value better as well.
So you are saying other collectable avenues would suit them better.
I actually disagree CBG. I'm really impressed that Sideshow isn't overkilling the ES these days. Hopefully, they stick to this model. I am not ordering Spiderman PF until I see a reasonable ES ie NOT 9500. If it is too high, I will pass. As for Batman Modern Age, I think the ES on this is very reasonable. Glad Sideshow is keeping things more collectible these days. It makes me want to buy from them again. The only thing I have on order is Classic CW at the moment.
I see the ES statement a lot. Can someone refresh me the relevance an ES has on the decision to buy a statue?
Its like this. I see a statue I want. Then the ES is can be so big I just decided to wait to buy it a tad less because I'm not a muti millionare. Then the smaller ES is announce so I then jump on to buy it hoping not to miss out. So I do want it but can't decide yet. Then the ES forces me to buy it ignoring all the over priced and flaws in certain sculpts. So low ES can be a bad thing for us trying to save money. Kind of sick right?
