Just got this and love it! Wish they had the second headsculpt looking straight ahead though instead of the same direction as the first one. Small nitpick on an otherwise amazing statue. The box was so damn huge lol.

Why so snarky? I'm all for people making their cases themselves. I'm just trying to let people know that buying the acrylic isn't cheap, and to then try to work with it for the first time, you likely won't be happy with the results. I've been in the aquarium hobby for decades, and a lot of acrylic work happens, and I know how difficult it can be, and costly. I'm just trying to be helpful.

I did my research online on how to make DIY acrylic cases. They're not as easy as some might think, and they can't be "just glued together". It's either trial and error or just take whatever I come up with so I can convince myself that I didn't waste money on the acrylic sheets and the welding "glue". Good thing I found this local hobby shop that makes decent acrylic cases for cheap, like $40 -60 for a case that would fit a quarter scale figure, depending on the depth and width so I ended up just buying some.

I have a friend that does really nice acrylic work. He recently made me one. I can give you his contact info if you like. Acrylic is not cheap, and having someone that can do flawless bubble free seams is also not easy to find. Shipping can also add up. Mine is 24 tall x 18 wide X 13 deep, and cost $120.

Thanks, especially for mixed media pieces. He does really nice work too... no bubbles in the seams, perfectly square corners, and nicely beveled edges all around.

Got mine... I am a little let down but that is because I own the original so the WOW factor is not there.. Mine has some small issues... Deciding if I want to return to SSC or not.

It looks great... I would be blown away if I got this first.

I gotcha Jaws. You can really only experience the size of this Batman PF once. Since I had the original it didnt stun me either but he's still a really nice statue that I'm glad I own.
I think thats my one gripe with variants. Hard to wow you with a color change. But that would probably be my only nitpick.

I actually like the belt ... No issue there... No issue with the piece at all. I think if the new head sculpt was a straight facing forward sculpt it would help change the and differentiate the look when compared to the original. I have not one issue with the piece itself. Like I said it has some issues. The magnet on my new head sculpt is not strong at all and wobbles a bit when put into place... Also the way the cape fits it seems to cause the head to lean forward... With the weak magnet I am worried about it falling off. I would just ask for a replacement piece but I don't know if it needs a new cape, head, or whatever.

Yeah.. It worries me about getting the Grey Hulk now that I have green..

As far as Bats goes, it is beautiful and is overall the better done piece IMO... Just missing that wow factor.

I have the grey bats and saw this one in a comic shop and was stunned. It gave me the wow factor the light colors pop. I can agree that opening your 1st bats Pf is special but I was thrilled to see the modern bats in person.

I guess the belt is what it is.. It looks like the comic so I am fine with it... It works... It is a little toy looking but it fits. I prefer the old belt of course.

My one complaint about mine is the weak magnet as well, it barely seems to grab.
