They should have given us 2 films with fully realized stories on the screen instead of one unfinished film. If you can't include the whole story in one movie then don't ****ing release it that way. It's a decision that cost them $, IMO.
It's a double-edged sword, unfortunately. Just look at "Da Hobbot" films.

DC could have done it with this film. They crammed so much in that they ended up cutting out parts that completed the story to make a decent runtime. What we got in the theater was the Cliff's Notes version and I'd prefer to read the entire novel.

This makes more sense to me. We wouldn't have had to wait as long because the first part would've been released last year. The second movie would've given Batman and Superman actual time to form a bond so Bruce's words at the funeral wouldn't feel like hollow ********. Diana wouldn't be reduced to looking at screens in her scenes because she could have had a bigger role. Yeah, I think this might've been a big missed opportunity for DC.

Il think the movie grew s they were writing and shooting.
They would have done two movies, same people would have complained or mocked it "ha ha look they cant put everything in one they are releasing 2 movies to get more money no way im paying for two Snyder movies blah blah"...
At least the full movie is being released, and is not staying in some drawer at Warner unlike MOS.
lets be happy for that.
