I don't believe for a second that's bait, you actually think that, I know it :lol

Just watched the ultimate cut on bluray....3rd time seeing movie now, once at cinema and watched online a few weeks ago.
Must say I really do think this movie is fantastic. The work Zac has done on MOS and BVS is incredible ....can't wait for TJL.

Tried watching this again last night because my wife hadn't seen it yet and we've watched all the comic book movies together at some point. She made it through 50 minutes and completely lost interest. When I told her how much of the movie was left--that we hadn't even made it halfway through--she said, "**** watching the rest of that. Just tell me what happens." After I told her, she said she wasn't going to finish watching it. :lol I'm sure she'll look up the Wonder Woman bits because I told her that she was good in it but sitting through this movie feels like a chore.

The sad thing I see with the new justice League trailer is they maybe caving to the " why can't you be more like marvel" and are changing the tone of their movies. The seem to have introduced a lighter tone I just hope it does turn in to another generic Marvel movie filled with jokes and one liners because that is what is family friendly .

Marvel comics have no problem killing characters in the comic but they can never go dark in there movies and that a a shame since any battle is more like a fight in a playground no consequences.

If they even remotely adaptation the comic story line it would have provided it with a little edge unfortunately these movies are turning in TV episodes with with a to be stay tuned to the next episode feel

DC has to go Marvel because they are being slaughtered(for NO reason) by critics and media and that is bringing down the box office. WB is clearly upset. Sad. These are far superior films to Marvel's and I'm convinced time will reveal this....

Yeah it was very apparent from the beginning with MOS as nobody complained about they dynamics of the movie they were upset about the tone of superman and how he was a darker version of the previous.

Superman has always had that problem of being relatable they turned him in to saint were he was perfect never liked Mr. boy scout goody two shoes his comic sales were on decline so they introduced his most famous story arch the death and return of superman which was amazing as it had never been done before.

I was rewarding BvS and man the tension in the last scene I felt they were in danger and that what I need to feeling . Not the jokes and one liners and people are always saying it needs to have levity , why the Noland films never did and they were brilliant.

I hope at least even if they lighten it up to a certain degree it's still serious when it needs to I remember age of ultron they were still say jokes in the final fight Thor and vision even in avengers it was the same thing. I hope it's not like that

"But a person close to the project told TheWrap that Superman is a top priority for the studio and getting the character right for audiences is of tantamount importance."

I don't know if I should be relieved or worried.[emoji38]
Don't read it much in to it it's a natural progression of his character arch he will mature in to what the character he are familiar with the basics will be there but it does not mean he will b the christopher reeve I dont lie superman.

Just saw BVS for the first time since I saw it in the theater and my dad finally saw it too. It's not as bad as I remembered it, but it's really boring. This is the last time I'll see this film. My dad didn't fall asleep which is what happened when he saw TDK and TDKR...but he still didn't like it. He liked Sups, especially when he uses his powers, but didn't like DD and all the CGI stuff. He liked Luthor and thought WW was alright. He was surprised when she shows up to save Batman because he didn't see any of the trailers. Right before DD is about to kill Batman the film shows Sups recovering with the sunlight, so he thought it was Sups that saved Bats. Guess the trailer ruined that moment for most of us :lol He also liked the Martha moment. :lol Anyway, he really likes MOS and SS, but not BVS.

So, I finally have the ultimate edition home and I watched it saturday.

Right of the bat: I liked it in cinemas and can not comprehend what everyone has against it. Call me narrowminded, or whatsoever. I just think that, or at least it sounds like, everyone who´s ranting about it want another MCU. Sure, DC doesn´t have their Feige and something doesn´t work as fuild as in the marvel flicks, but to do something like that and "copy" that success is very hard I believe, so...I´ll sit and watch and support it.

So...
The martha-scene IS a bit strange, he could´ve just told him that this is the name of his mother, and this isn´t redeemed, but what gives.

What´s more important is that the ultimate cut explains stuff way better, it didn´t feel like 3hrs, it showed more Clark Kent, which is VERY redeeming for the Superman half of the movie and the subplot with the daughter and her suposedly dead parents too.

I felt it was even more round in itself then before and I enjoyed it VERY much. Will give it another spin this week.

The Ultimate Edition elevated Batman V Superman to a 9/10 for me.
