Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

My take is this:
On the superficial front, well, I wouldn't be kicking her out of bed, granted I haven't had any action in over a year at this stage so I probably would try to cast a wider net than many. :lol
Crows was right that that F&F scene was a bit embarrassing but I don't think he gives the face enough credit.

Regardless Gadot is cast and is filming. Its a done deal. It's probably best to just wait and see and say no more about it. The more you argue about it now the more of a fool one side of the debate is going to seem later on when we find out one way or another how Gadot does.

Alexandra Daddario might have been something but realistically a chest of that magnitude just can't be practical in a fight???..........I couldn't type that with a straight face, I'm sorry, that's just silly talk. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

the choices I posted were skinny girls that have no business playing WW.

they were only to show how the guys defending Gadot would completely trash those girls. which is what everyone would do.

I posted my Real choice a long time ago but ill post her again Just for you lol ,(she already looked like WW in this movie :drool)
Imagine her like this next to Batman and superman..... what could have been :(

Yes, yes & YES!!!

I'm totally with you there mate - superb suggestion, I remember us mentioning her a while back too.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I think it was said that although she is perfect her age might be a problem when you're talking multi-picture deals.

Y'know that kinda sexist thing in Hollywood where male protagonists can be all the way up to 70 but the cut-off point for women is like, 45, at a stretch. Then all they get are 'the mother' roles.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Look, when I was defending Megan Fox for the Turtle movies at least I was honest enough to say that it was only because I am obsessed with her body. I personally don't think Megan is a bad actress, But the only reason I was on board was because she is hot.
I don't see what's the big deal with you guys just admitting you like Gadot a lot and you want to see her ****s in the WW outfit. ain't nothing wrong with that as a guy.

just saying, Be honest at least.

And that sums up everything I needed to know. So despite the overwhelming evidence that proves you wrong on this one, you don't think she's bad. Yet with a lack of evidence going one way or the other with Gal you are in hate mode. Because she doesn't meet your standard of beauty and obvious quality taste in acting. This is a joke. And if all you can appreciate on an actress is her bust size that is sad.

I do think Gal Gadot is a beautiful woman. But that has nothing to do with my hopes that she nails the role of Diana. I am rooting for her because I love the character. Same as I am rooting for Affleck because I love the character. I don't want to see them portrayed badly.Gal's looks have nothing to do with my opinion. I would be rooting for anyone cast in this role. It happens to be her. As far as I am concerned she is an unknown for the most part. I hope she blows the doors off the role.

Yeah, well.. Hollywood's got a lot to answer for on a good day. :lol

... ...

If that's not WW I don't know who is. She's even a better choice than Carano or Alexander!

What I meant is that she gets more hate than she deserves. Megan Fox is more hated than any other actress, regardless of whether they have seen her movies or not. She is one of those celebrities that people love to hate even if they have never seen her in a movie.

The difference here is that I HAVE seen Gadot acting, I've seen her movies, and she is not a good actress yet. Maybe in 5 years when she has had more experience Gadot might be better at acting, But I feel like they are throwing her into this movie way too early. that's another problem Gadot has besides her looks, She has no experience.

defend her looks all you want but nothing can make up for experience.

yeah that was exactly what was said about her when I posted the pic the first time, which is sad because........

She is Wonder Woman incarnate. the hair, the body, her face, her acting abilities, her action training. She is the perfect person to have played WW. She would have looked like she belonged next to Affleck and cavill. Whenever I watch that movie I like to imagine that the movie is some kind of Wonder Woman prequel or something.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

[
how does she make sense? acting wise?
looks wise?
that's where it doesn't make sense for me. How can you say she makes sense for some representations of the character?

And I Was FOR Anne Hathaway from the beginning, I was probably one of the few that rooted for her because I Knew she could pull it off. I was one of the people rooting for Ben Affleck as Batman because I know he can act and be good in it.

I don't only judge people from their looks or their past failures. Im attacking gadot in looks but Im Not being superficial because acting wise she sucks too.

you keep saying she makes sense as WW but you never say why. I knew Anne could pull off the Catwoman look and the acting. (Even my signature was of Catwoman before the movie) I know Heath was going to pull off the joker because he is a good actor.
And I KNOW Ben Affleck is going to be good based on his previews movies and as a director. He has grown as an actor since Daredevil and he comes with Experience.

there is nothing AT ALL that says Gadot will be good acting wise. nothing at all. (No experience, no acting chops, no body, N o t h i n g)

so what is it? you still haven't said why, you are rooting for her because you find her attractive. isn't that even more superficial than my hate for her because shes got a FLAT BUTT?????? you guys think she is SO HOT and that automatically makes her perfect for WW. Por Favor Chico, give me a real reason.

I thought Anne Hathaway was hot too but I at least thought about her past experience when defending her :gah:

I've had this exact argument at least 2 or 3 times before, explaining why she makes sense as WW, seriously, are you trolling by telling me I haven't? Are you ignoring what I've said before in this thread? Or did you really miss all those arguments? Because Batfan and other people have explained themselves too, and if I remember correctly you were around those times.

I HAVE said why she makes sense, multiple times, I thought you were aware that I was intentionally not repeating myself for the sake of not reviving that same old argument and beating a dead horse.

It's not only because she's hawt she DOES make sense as WW.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I just came in to check on the hate and I have to say I'm pleased. Good work guys! :clap:clap:clap

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I know i said this girl has a baby face, but ironically enough I just found this, And she would have been an excellent choice actually

(She is really beautiful, for whoever was asking me what I think pretty is? well, THIS, is pretty :wink1: )

She's looks the part, but I don't think that girls starred in one decent movie yet.

well, she might not have had any big hits but at least she hasn't had any horrible movies either. She might not be a huge star but none of her movies have been totally awful. :dunno

X-Men Origins is probably the worst superhero movie since Batman and Robin, John Carter was a major flop, and she was in a few episodes of True Blood, a show I consider horrible. The two FF movies Gal has starred in already smokes this girls filmography from what I've seen. I could be wrong but I'm judging only what I've seen.

She does look the part though, but her track record is a bit shaky. Also, like someone else mentioned here, she's a bit too old for the role.

I'm giving Gal a chance, I care more about her performance than how she looks, so there's still a great chance she will impress me.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Yeah, she was a good fighter in John Carter and would have made a perfect Wonder Woman. I'm really afraid to see Gadot's sticks in that WW outfit. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman worked because she was covered up almost from head to toe. Wonder Woman has always been dressed on the skimpy side and a lot more skin shows. If you don't have a female with an athletic body watching her fight guys bigger than her is going to look comical.
