Year One, The Killing Joke, The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Arkham Asylum...

Just a few that must be made before Hush is considered.

The only one I'd care to see on your list before hush is The Dark Knight returns. The Killing Joke's ending would be just as unacceptable as the books. Batman laughing with the Joker after all the mess that went down before. No thanks.

You know what, screw all the Batman films, where the hell is the flashes movie? They've had one for GL, WW, and a billion for TDK and Super, but Flash never got anything. What makes people think a flash movie for theaters could be made if the animation department STILL hasn't touched it yet?

As opposed to what? A long excuse to draw as many different DCU characters as possible without a decent story to back it up? "Yay for you"? :dunno

There are so many Batman stories that should be given the animated treatment long before Hush even gets considered.

HAHAHAHA you took the words right out of my mouth

Because no one cares about the Flash

Yeah i'd like to see a Flash film too.

People like you are the reason DC will not get anywhere. No one cares about the Flash? Your just confirming all DC has is Batman and Superman (Mainly Batman) for profit then.

the long holloween is of the few good stories jeph loeb has ever written...now he's a super hack

Dark Victory and his [Marvel Character]: [Insert Color Here] stuff was pretty good. I like to think of Year One, TLH, and Dark Victory as a trilogy. Afterwards, Loeb went on to make Hush:the Michael Bay movie of comics.

Kingdom Come would need a feature film budget to do justice. It needs an extended run-time and the animation would be expensive.

I would love to see it. KC Superman is a badass.

Looking forward to this very much!!!

Warner Bros. has sent over the first clip from the animated adaptation of Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One. As you probably gathered from the title, the story chronicles the trials and tribulations of The Dark Knight. The book also looks at James Gordon’s first year working in Gotham and trying to root out corruption in the police force. Tommy caught the film at Comic-Con and felt it hewed too closely to the graphic novel. As for this clip, Batman picks the least impressive way to inform Gotham’s well-to-do criminals that he’s got his eye on them. And if a man dressed like a giant rodent interrupting your meal won’t set you straight, nothing will.

The film features the voices of Ben McKenzie, Eliza Dushku, Katee Sackhoff, and Bryan Cranston. Batman: Year One hits DVD and Blu-ray on October 18th.

Batman: Year One is based on the landmark 1987 DC Comics titles from 12-time Eisner Award winner Frank Miller and illustrator David Mazzucchelli. The film depicts young Bruce Wayne’s return to Gotham City in his first attempts to fight injustice as a costumed vigilante. The playboy billionaire chooses the guise of a giant bat to combat crime, creates an early bond with a young Lieutenant James Gordon (who is already battling corruption from inside the police department), inadvertently plays a role in the birth of Catwoman, and helps to bring down a crooked political system that infests Gotham.
