Surprised no one has posted this yet!

This looks amazing!! The next Battlefield to come out, and it is your most epic version of Cops and Robbers. :yess:

Basically this is just PayDay 2 with your average Battlefield epicness, unfortunately this is made by the people of the Dead Space franchise, Visceral Games, and not by DICE.

Check out the leaked trailer!

So now it's gonna be Call of Battlefield Modern Shooting Stuff? Why does this game need to be annualized? They haven't even released the last 2 DLC for BF4 and they're already saying fall of this year.

It seems like it might be interesting but in all honesty, I would have sooner seen Visceral work on a next gen dead space game to make up for Dead Space 3.

As many people have already said, why do we need Battlefield 5 when Battlefield 4 is still broken?

That's why I'll be passing on this. I will say the Dead Space games are among my all-time faves so I like that but I need to see if this is broken first.

as one of BF4's biggest critics I have to say this game is suffering from none of those issues. i'll try and get a write up later on what's up with it but i can't stop playing it.

It looks like it could be fun, I just wish the visuals were better instead of dumbing them down so that last gen gamers dont feel they're getting a crappier version which in all honesty they should.

Finally stopped playing to eat.

First off the bad:
-graphics are terrible. They look like a last gen game. Also not a fan of the gun renders this go around.
-after playing for a few hours I experienced some frame hiccups here and there, when your buddies spawn on you they can trap you.
-running into a teammate is like running into a wall
-helo controls make them a chore to fly

the good?
-everything else.
This game is ****ing fun. It took all the best parts from GTA, Battlefield, and yes even Call of Duty and made one helluva fun time. The pacing is a LOT faster than any of the other BF games, and the map you get to play on flows great.
Hit detection is pretty good, and speaking of which, it takes more bullets to bring someone down now and I love it. There's still the drop off penalty but it matters a LOT more now where you hit someone. If you're in a firefight and you're hitting a guy anywhere other than the chest/head and he's tagging you there? You will lose that engagement.
Submachine guns are finally not OP and don't do a whole lot of damage but fire in a straight line for the most part.
Sniper rifles are sniper rifles, and the support and assault weapons are excellent. Even secondary weapons are worth a damn.
Plus all the vehicles available make you able to get right back into the action quickly unlike BF4, and unlike BF4 where road killing is a bit of a delicacy it is really easy and a ton of fun running people over in hardline.
Any weapon can take down the basic vehicles, and you can even shoot the drivers and passengers in them.
60fps

PLUS ZIPLINING AND GRAPPLING HOOK

All in all if they can keep this up in the full release this will be one helluva game.

I think if the game

Thanks for your thoughts on this new Battllefield game. As a huge fan of Battlefield, I was surprised to see a Battlefield title with a non millitary theme and a hint of GTA in the mix. Look forward to playing it on the PS4 when it's released.

I actually like that it isnt just a war base game. I mean its always the same thing, and the only thing that is exciting is maps and guns. I feel Hardline will add more in the set list area as well as some interesting plays with guns and vehicles. L.A looked amazing during thr demo. Ill only imagine if they crack 1080 on the final product.

More I look at this, the more I see it like the Spec Ops for BF 2.

Good thing they took away the ability to mod their games, else this would have been made for free by fans long ago.

I've played all the battlefield series so it's a no brainer I play this one. Not sure why I do though because I'm pretty awful at FPS MP games. :lol
