I am afraid our minimum order quantity is currently 20 items per design due to the time and expense involved in setting up the machines for small runs. If you would like us to quote you for this number please let me know (including any artwork you may have).

Im unsure what an 'item' is and how much each items base cost is, so . .

Fantastic news guys 'Blind Voyeur' who has created clothing for some of the recent mind blowing figures that have been shown on these boards is willing to get involved in creating some 'Iconic Baltar Suits'

He would apply the same methodolgy used to create the Jokers pants :

I asked him about the materials and process:

"The final fabric is professionally printed on 100% cotton so it is just as durable as any other fabric you would purchase in the store. The second prototype picture is a different material than the finished piece so it looks stiffer and flows less. The pictures with him wearing the pants are the finished fabric"

Ok the nitty gritty the price, he replied:

"Sure thats not a problem. Let me get some ideas and so forth together and we can see what kind of interest we have after that. If their is a few people interested say between 1 and 5, I would estimate you are looking at $55-$65 per suit by the time the fabric is printed and the suits are sewn and so forth."

So guys how about it ?

A custom 'Iconic Baltar Suit' to compliment that headsculpt ?

We also need to agree a base body ? afterall if we are having a bespoke suit made it makes sense to tailor it ????

FYI I made a purchase this evening on the 'possible' undershirt for the suit, It was only £4.00 so even if I dont use it its no biggy, theres 2 left anyone puts their name down for a suit shoot me a PM and Ill point you in their direction

Im sure the suit will be just as good as the Joker Pants, his attention to detail is superb from what I can see of his previous work and as he says above this is a generate interest thread, so hopefully we can see the cloth and a prototype, before we spend so much money.

On the subject of base bodies what does everyone think about using a DiD body ???

Gaius is quite thin the suit needs to be tailored to suit that, so I was thinking about using a DiD as they tend to be on the thin side ????? and a bonus is they are on the cheap side too !!!

Those who feel their own needle work skills are up to the challenge may wish to ask 'Blind' for just the cloth ?

I suggested DiD as its cheap and cheerful and quite thin, Im guessing it wouldnt be a hard task to take a 10 or 20 mm of the legs, but then would that look right proportionately ? It would just be a fold and an iron for the pant legs, might be an idea for us to work out how tall he is in 1:1 and Six if thats on the cards for you ? TBH Six had crossed my mind also !

A regular Dragon body would prob be good because they are cheap and easy to find. They are a little shorter than like a Sideshow buck. Unless Hot toys offers their new slim body nude in the near future. I used a Dragon body for this custom and am pretty happy with the way it turned out. A little too muscular but alas not many old man bodies out there. Maybe a medicom RAH but they are fragile and run expensive.

Well I want to have a Six commissioned to complement my Baltar at some point.

And well I don't know that much about the nude body's that are available so I guess I'll go with a DiD too and just shorten the body myself.

I got my Final Fabric in today for the limited run of Nicholson Joker pants. It turned out really nice. The prototype pants were to light so I adjusted the pattern on the final print.

Im creating a custom using Ada's sculpt found some perfect material (silk) its the right color (unlike the one above) it also has that color effect (the one that changes color dependant on where light hits it) Ive done a start on the helmet with blue l.e.d.'s wired in, and sourced the arm patches courtesy of mark at patches of pride, sourced the holster and a sidearm for tweaking

Don't worry about people. I didn't mean you needed 5 to make it a go. I was just guessing there would prob be 1 to 5 people interested. I have already started development on it anyway I almost have the patteren scaled out and should get some prototype pics up this weekend.

Thread was started in the SW section over using the new Triad body for a Slave Leia, wondered if she would work for a Six ??

Making the legs at the top, under a red dress longer, make a cut and add some sculpey ? and maybe Baltar on a DiD and cut his legs down a bit ? but I guess that all depends on how the Evolution compares next to DiD, unfortunately they arent out till July 2009

I see the Evolution body as being the only one that can atm take on semi naked ?

Dont see anything Tonner esque being able to do her justice, plus with the Evolution body they have the 3 breastesers thingies for making the breastesers bigger, although I think the default would be the best match !

eg.

based on the Evo waist and cheat areas and the cut of this dress, you may just get away without any unflattering joints around the back, but I aint seen a back shot of the Evo yet.
