Great Episode!

You could probably predict something was going to go wrong, but what the frak do they do now? Where do they go?

While they are in the area, they might as well fly into Uranus. :monkey3

I wish. The picture was in the Hellboy (Free Comic Book Day) comic.

They have written themselves into quite a corner, especially since one of the main goals of the series story arc has been attained.

I think I've figured out who the "fifth" is....and let's just say...it's someone who hasn't been on the show in a long time....

I'm gonna say that there are still people on Earth, the 13th Tribe and that the 5th Cylon is still among them. Of course, that could be completely outlandish and I'm frakkin' still frunk from last night.

This is crazy, I really didn't think they'd get to earth so soon. Still could be possible that Helo is the final cylon, but that's not a big deal so I'm not quite sure.

I saw that someone thought the 5th cylon was Starbucks Viper....which would be interesting but I believe its a person. Perfect time for a Dirk Benedict cameo.

That was the brooklyn bridge right? I blinked and was'nt sure.

Never thought they would get to earth so soon, but i liked now the the cylons and colonials were both standing together.

Wonder were its going to go from there and its a shame we find out in January.

That slow pan across them all and the landscape made me think of two things...one, it looked like the print ad campaign for the next half of the season (very "Sopranos") and two, where was Chuck Heston telling them they blew it all up?

But seriously, here's who I think the fifth is, to bring it all full circle...
(highlight to read)

Zack Adama

Think about it...

I agree with that choice.

Apollo seems to be the only main character they haven't really screwed with yet. (in terms of being deeply affected by cylon reveals) And this would absolutely have a deep affect on him.

So it makes sense Zack is that character. (do we really need to keep that white? It is just a theory)

I don't know about that. I mean, Admiral Adama was around when he was born. How would that work?

Given the above, I am fully prepared to admit I am wrong next January. :monkey1

That's the only thing, but there are still many questions about all of the 5 that need to be answered.

Adama was off working during most of his children's childhoods, maybe he wasn't there to witness the birth. And if Saul Tigh was already around it means skinjobs were already in existence, so it's not out of the realm of possibility I think.

Remember the new series? Caprica, the Adamas are main characters and one of the main points of the series is the creation of the Cylons, so maybe it is Zack since his family has a history.

this is true!!! my main thing is that anyone can be a Cylon... and its because its very easy to say that someone was kidnapped and put in a farm, their memories, personalities, and consciousness could have been implanted into a Cylon and nobody would know until something gets "set off"

Well yeah. but what about Colonel Ty? I mean he has been around for 30+ years Adama said...

Well, who didn't see THAT coming?

But I didn't really expect them to get there before the end of the series.

And talk about ACTING - Bamber didn't flinch when Eddie drooled all over him (literally). I'd be like - "YUCK! ew! get this crap offa me!"

I thought the same thing... Great "being in the moment"...

Happy with the cliffhanger ending-- would have liked for one of the final five to have been sacrificed--- It would have had more of an emotional punch if say Tigh was sent out of that airlock.

not too hard to kidnap someone and replace them without anyone knowing. i know its a stretch, but its sci fi and still a possibility.
(i've been playing metal gear so i'm getting suspicious of everyone)

It was a great episode, no doubt. But compared to some of their all time best episodes (the ones on New Caprica, last season's finale, etc.) I have to conclude that it was rushed to be finished before the strike started. Watching it again and since we don't see any recognizable continents on "Earth" I'm thinking it's not Earth. The destroyed cityscape reminds me of the classic BSG episode "Greetings from Earth" and also how, in it, they kept thinking Terra was going to be Earth and then it wasn't.

It's interesting to think that, thanks to the writer's strike, this cliffhanger was meant to act as a series finale if need be. If the strike was more devastating or if Sci-Fi totally walked away from the show this season then last Friday's episode would stand as the end of the show.
