Well, not 100% essential, but it does fill in some blanks in the overall storyline. I think this coming up season will expand what you see in the flashbacks of RAZOR.

The website The Digitabits.com reports the first part of season 4 will be out January 6, 2009 before season 4 ends on Sci-Fi Channel.

I'd rather kill a busload small children with a rust spork than watch Doctor Who!! Please let this be produced by the American side of the company, because most British shows never have any money for production value.

Hopefully these come to the Netflix "Watch Instantly" thing so I can rewatch the episodes on my 360 before the new 1/2 season come back on!!

Hey, don't get me wrong, I love the Black Adder and The Office and stuff like that, but most effects driven shows in the UK aren't that great. Mentioning BSG and "that show" in the same sentence is sci-fi blasphemy!! lolololol

Just kidding guys, I know that lots of people love DW like I love BSG. I know some shows I watch some people don't like either, just messing around with everyone!!

Have you seen some of the effects for Doctor Who? I'd say that they are fantastic. Better than some US productions. It's just a smaller show than BSG, which incidentally was financed by a UK channel. *sigh* So little real knowledge and so much television trivia.

Yes, I have watched a couple of eps of DW and it's pretty bad, but that's just me. Like I said, everyone has their opinion of what is good and the DW effects just aren't there for me. BSG's and Stargate's effects have always looked great to me. Well, if BSG is financed my a UK channel, maybe DW should get that same channel to back them. And if they already do, well I'd feel like the ugly stepchild if I was DW.

And on the BSG Wiki, it said that the Sci-Fi channel got

backed up with financing by Sky One in the United Kingdom.

I never knew that. Reading even further, it said that both Universal & Sci-Fi deemed it unaffordadable until Sky One offered to make up the difference in the funding needed.

But after season 1, they stopped with their financing:

After Season One, Sky1 does not provide major financial backing of the series, but it still credited due to its investments with set and pre production early in the series.

Just like how bad Sanctuary looks. I hate the greenscreen look that everything in the show has. Way to shiny and polished/fake looking to me. And the monkey/monster dude that is their helper or whatever, I've seen better costumes on Halloween than the stuff that the guy is wearing.
