I'm relieved to see that this plot point even confused the people on the show. much less the guy who directed this movie that was supposed to give us answers.

Yea, the questions I want answered is where were the ORIGINAL rebellion cylons. The ones that bombed the original Earth? they are probably roaming around the universe somewhere I suppose....

Well, i havnt seen the show yet. Gonna put it on my wish list for Christmas.
Wiiii, there's someone with the same name as me and there's Grace Park. Two more reasons to watch it :D

:monkey2:monkey2 Bad news is that you missed an awesome television show. :banana:banana:banana Good news is that you'll have them all to watch without having to wait each week for the next episode.

I don't watch shows on TV anymore. It's not worth it. I check out a few episodes and then if i like it i just wait for the complete series box-sets. Also, i don't even think BSG has aired over here :duh

I think they got destroyed with everyone else on Earth, the Five were the only ones who survived since they had developed resurrection technology.

Finally got around to watching The Plan, and I do want to now watch the series over again. So it didn't answer EVERYTHING, but it did give some interesting insights. Overall, I found it very good.

Just watched the DVD and can't say that it answered all the questions. But it did make me think about rewatching the series, it will shed some light on certain things. But the whole final 5 thing is still confusing and they did a bit more with Kara, but still didn't tell us anything about what she's supposed to be. The Plan seems to just be Syfyy wanting just one more drink at the BSG well. But it did raise one more question - why wasn't Cavill's flyer an octagon like all the other paper products? The nudity was almost completely and totally gratuitous - there was even one shot where it seemed like they had to make an awkward pan to just get a ????? in frame. There was no other reason for the shot or the camera move.
The only place where it was part of the story was the sex scene with Simon and the woman with the inexplicably thick Spanish accent.

lol yeah the nudity had nothing to do with the movie and I actually found it distracting, there is better nudity out there if I wanted it.

I expected more from this though, some kind of REAL insight into their plan but it was like 50% recycled material. Still gonna buy it on BD though. I have to support this show.

Today we learned Universal intends to release a new complete series Battlestar set on Blu-ray April 6, the same day season two debuts on Blu-ray, that is not tagged as a limited edition. This set will include all four individually packaged season 1-4 box sets housed within a new outer case. The Plan will also be included and presumably Razor as well, though we cannot fully confirm the latter at this time.

This new Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series set will carry an SRP of $299.95 or $50 less than the previous set listed for. On-shelf pricing should settle in around the $200 mark.

Sounds like it will be much more user-friendly/scratch proof than the first release. :banghead

:lol

That always happens to me as well.

Well I didn't expect to have any of the Caprica stuff in it because technically its a different show, and I don't really care about "The Plan" included in the set so if you feel the same way I'd just go and buy the existing set once it gets marked down!!! The UK set is awesome and I recommend it as its $150 shipped and not region coded.

Well, if it includes The Plan and the missing webisodes, then I'd be down for it, but otherwise. . . .meh.

Though I do find it crazy that the UK set is cheaper than the US set, must be that fancy packaging.

I already bought my set here in the uk a few months back so won't be double dipping on this set. It's one of the best shows i've seen though and i'm normally no into this type of show.
