Anyone else miss Chief's beard?

Now I'm truly convinced that Starbuck's child isn't hers. If it was, then why would Xena be so interested in Hiro? So she has to be either a clone of Starbuck or... a baby number Six? Or maybe like in Blade, the child will start talking intelligetly and prove to be another Cylon model. But if the did that then no child actor that young could recite lines mature enough, nor would she stay that young... so probably not another Cylon model.

:lol Yes! I guess it was done because of re-shoots.

It looks like this episode was the set-up for next week. I really liked the scene between Lee and Adama, and I loved the line about Tigh and Ellen being the parents of Chief's kid.

I'm not sure where they're going with the whole Starbuck arc, but something better happen fast. Seeing her play "Mommy" isn't cutting it. I think you're right about the kid not being hers.

Wow, tonight's episode was amazing. Best yet. So many good things about this episode, but I wish I recorded it so I could watch the reentry sequence over again.

I'm glad I record every episode... I'll definitely watch this episode again. It proved why BSG is the best show on TV. Seeing the Galactica fall out of the sky and then jump was one of the coolest things ever.

Q - Tonight's episode will be shown again Monday night at 11:00.

SOOOOO good tonight. I'm so glad 'buck's "kid" wasn't hers. Kinda had the feeling it was going that direction anyway. Didn't see the pegasus being trashed, pleasant suprise. the one beef I had, was why was sharon's baby only being guarded by 2 fracking guards. it "maybe the change of things to come" but only 2 guards ?!?!?!?! Come on, I know the ID of the baby is supposed to be secret, but a baby that important would need more than 2 guards.

Yeah, last night's episode was fantastic! The Galactica falling out of the sky... man... loved that scene... And Baltar's scene with Gaeta was just as tense as I thought it would be. Amazingly enough, it's trippy to have everyone back on Galactica now that they are all damaged and entirely different people than they were last season......

It should make for some good drama this year. Tigh is really F-ed up, lost and eye and had to kill his wife. God only knows what Sharon will do when she has confirmation that her baby was hidden from her. Starbuck will probably have some major damage due to being brainwashed and tricked for so long. Lee will have to get used to not being in command anymore. Gaeta is an entirely different guy, lots of issues there. Baltar... Hell, who knows where he's at?? He's NOT on the Galactica that's for sure.

I can't wait to see what happens. I still can't believe they pulled it off and got everyone out of there..... It seemed impossible but somehow they did it. Had to sacrifice the Pegasus to do it, but they pulled it off.....

Best show in the world..... :bow

Whoa, this season has been riveting, I hope that they can keep it up.

Anyone else notice that Maya is the same actress that plays Joe on Eureka? Nice of Sci-fi to keep it in the family.

I hadn't thought of Lucy being so interested in Hera then KC couldn't really be a hybrid. So nothing comes out of artificial insemination and the only way to make a hybrid is the natural way?

Cause if was implied that there were a lot of attempts by the Cylons back on Caprica.

I watched the entire season of Eureka and didn't notice it was the same actress! The funny thing is, she appeared on Galactica first.

great episode!!! too bad they had to destroy the Pegasus because i really loved it.i wonder if lee will take over Tigh's place since tigh isnt fit for it anymore. because i dont see Lee fitting in the ****pit of a Viper until he loses some weight.

I think it's good that the Pegasus is gone. Now the focus is back on the Galactica and everyone is back together. At least Pegasus went out in a blaze of glory!

As far as Tigh goes, he's pretty much a hero now... Adama's either going to promote him (to what I don't know), or he's going to let him do whatever he wants.

Yea, he did a might hard thing to do...snuff his wife. I don't think I could have done it. I too am glad the pegasus is gone; it will compact the show more with it gone and I like it that way.

What threw me off was how they knew it was Sharon's baby that survived next to the 2 guards . . .I mean out of all the people who were left down there, what was the giveaway that the baby was Sharon's???

I just rewatched Exodus parts I & II and I'm not 100% sure that Tigh killed his wife.

The way the scene is played, an arguement could be made that after she confesses to cheating on Tigh, she knows that there's poison in the cup and she knows that Tigh has to get her to drink it and she chooses to say, "I could use a drink." The way I saw it the second time, she willingly took the drink to save her husband the pain of taking the responsability of executing her.

It was quite beautiful and touching. But I could be reading into it.

The other thing I noticed throughout watching it was how similar in feel the show was to any of the installments of LOTR. Truly epic in scope, sure, but the storytelling shows such respect and confidence in the material.

She was predestined to know love when she held the child in her arms, so if she felt love, she knew the prophesy was true and that was the Cylon/human hybrid. The child was also asian, which is what convinced me when she held the baby.
That was a great episode. Just saw it last night and I was floored.
I was shocked when Tigh killed his wife, I did a double take and thought he might have just put her asleep. Rewatched it and I couldn't believe it. Her character was great, kind of wished they had her in a few more episodes.

I was thinking that there's no confirmation that Ellen Tigh is dead. It may have been a drug to put her to sleep and leave her stranded in New Caprica. The fact that we don't know what exactly is in the cup means anything is possible . . . The fact that we saw Tigh cry can mean a lot of things, but the basic fact is that Ellen was gonna be left behind. Whether as dead or in deep slumber is another thing. I could pretty much accept either way.

In the podcast Moore says that Ellen is dead, and talks about the decision to killer her off.

Great podcast this week, btw.

Collaborators was another great episode! Except... the whole time I was going, "But, but, but... Chief knows Felix saved the day."

Luckily TiVo still had Predipice in her little memory banks. I qued up the scene where Chief pumps Felix for information face-to-face and, by golly, I can totally buy that Chief doesn't know that Felix is the informer in that scene. (Though when I first saw it I had assumed he did know and was just being a jerk to Felix all because his baby's momma was arrested by the secret police.)

Oh and I can't wait for Balter to get his very own basestar in the coming weeks! I wonder if he'll get his own Lucifer or if his internal Caprica Six is already his own Lucifer. Though I don't know what Balter would do with a basestar in this Universe. He can't really chase the Galactica week to week like in the 70's, can he?

This episode was another example of how great the writing is on this show, and that they don't just rely on action.

It was mentioned in one of the earlier episodes that the resistance didn't know who was supplying info. This way if one of them was caught, there was no way the Cylons could get who the informer was out of them. I just want to know why Felix didn't speak up about his involvement a little louder after the fact. It seems like he told Starbuck and that was it. I really thought he was just going to keep his mouth shut and let himself get blown out into space.

I love the idea of Baltar getting his own basestar! Well, the Cylons do plan on going to Earth. :lol

i loved this episode as well. finally see tigh grow a pair when he went off on adama.i have a feeling we'll see butting of heads before the season ends. tigh will probably see adama owing him because he lead the resistance, lost his eye, and killed his own wife. at least thats my predictions of what might happen. i'd like to see lee get back into his old self and possibly back into a viper for some combat missions.
