I wonder if the cylon will be in scale with the Doctor Who figs. :lol

:drool I'll take Doctor Who or Star Wars scale. Either way it will lead to some great pictures. Especially since this goes on sale AFTER SDCC and we will, then, only be missing 3 Doctors.

Complete pass for me. I already have every season released thus far, and only need 4.5 to complete the series. This is great news for those that were far more patient than I, though.

Me too.....don't think I'll get it on blu-ray. Would be pretty to watch...but I don't need to shell out a lot more money to have sparkly special effects when all I need is 4.5 to complete the series. Unless I find an AMAZING deal of course. :D

I also got everything but I got it on DVD so the Blu-Ray box will be mine!! :monkey1 :monkey2

I dunno... I watched all of season 4.5 on SciFi HD as it aired and was surprised by the amount of grain/imperfections in the film. I also watched the first half of the season on (upscaled) DVD with my wife to catch her up and could not tell a difference in quality from DVD to HD. Usually, the HD channels on my tv are as crisp and clean as your average BD, but BSG in particular always looks "dirty." Except for the last hour of the final episode, maybe. I doubt this is a series that will benefit highly from BD, since it doesn't appear to have been filmed in the best quality to begin with.

^^i think you're forgetting that most of the grain and grit is SUPPOSED to be in there. that's part of what the director's were going for.
~~~definite for day buy for me!!!
No, no no... I get that. But my point is you won't be benefiting from REbuying an "HD" version of BSG since the actual way they filmed it is grainy and murky to begin with. The old seasons on my upscaled DVD player are barely different from the HD episodes I watched on cable. I guarantee the BDs will be an "outrage" when they come out when people scream how "grainy" they are.
we'll see. if they can tone down some of the grain, yet still make the images razor sharp it'll be fantastic. add in lossless audio and it'll be a sci fi joygasm in a box.
Awesome, but getting the 4.5 set only. No need to spend the extra $$ when I already have everything else prior.
Awesome, only have Season 1 on DVD so I'll definitely get this on Blu-Ray, although at some point I'll have to get a Blu-Ray player. Hopefully they'll do a better transfer than when they tried HD-DVD.
I watched the last season on HD and it does look awesome in some parts, the last episode
on Earth
looked amazing.
I will probably only get season 4.5 on Blu-ray though as the other DVD's do upscale pretty good.
