Looking good Shai !!
Glad you got one, he does go very well with the other Marvel PF's but is also a great stand alone sculpt.
x :D

Mine's on the way. Should've been here today, but apparently the UPS plane it was on ran afoul of some inclement weather. :( So it'll arrive at the office tomorrow. :dance

Nice pics Monl! I am falling more in love now with the closed mouth reg head. He looks more pissed off.:D

Nice pics. But did you use some kinda of image editing software, just seems like there is some sort of gradient over it or something. Might just be my crazy self. Nonetheless AWESOME.

Okay, this thread has made me officially put the Thing on my want list. Dunno if I'll ever get it, but I want one.

Not sure what you mean by gradient. The only thing I did was to adjust the exposure and shadow levels in Adobe Bridge (they were shot in the RAW format), then I ever-so-slightly adjusted the curves in Photoshop, and bumped the color saturation up to 5.

You might be referring to the slight vignetting effect, which is caused by the B+W haze filter I have protecting my lens.

As for the exposures themselves, I meter for the on-camera strobe (SB-28DX), which is bounced at an angel from the ceiling in order to provide a more natural lighting effect. Then I intentionally underexpose it by about 1 full stop (give or take) in order to prevent the colors from being washed out. This has the added effect of dropping the background into shadow, which tends to isolate the subject better than if the brick walls were fully lit.

Yeah, that stuff. I meant to say filter--if that made more sense--I was going to edite my post--but o'well.

Nice work on those pics tho

Awsome pics monk. Brick background make it look better for some subliminal reason unbeknownst to me.
