What is there to hate? It's exactly how I pictured power rangers if it were made for adults. It also might be because I wasn't expecting anything cool lol. Any chance Hot Toys makes some figs for this? I could see myself being interested. And are the zords being redesigned too, or will it resemble the OG Dinozord?

People bitching that it's a typical teen drama like from Chronicle or whatever. I don't know what they hell they expected. It isn't like the teen drama set some high bar in the original. I didn't want it hokey or cheesy again, and this isn't.

But it's about teenagers... The fun part is how they hide their identities. It's like if there was a movie with 5 Spider-Man. They go to school, juggle relationships, have personal issues, and protect the world, etc. And I agree about the cheese. Didn't want it and so far so good.

Been thinking about Gaiseric and Void for quite some time now...

What if the 'four angels' that destroyed Gaiseric and his empire were the four elemental kings? It never really crossed my mind before but this is actually a popular fan theory next to the theory of there being a previous God Hand who were replaced.

When you think of a Sage/Holy man, you think of someone who has high intellect (big brain), is philosophical and prays. The four kings/angels can only be summoned by a prayer. "A holy man prayed to four angels", who then answered his call and destroyed the city in the span of a night. The destructive nature of their powers as shown when summoned by Schierke, fits the narrative of how Gaiseric's city was completely destroyed. It also lends to the theory that the sage was a powerful magic user.

On another note, has anyone ever noticed that the double helix shape on the Holy See Religious Order's mark has a resemblance to the lower half of the Idea of Evil? I wonder who it was that decided to go with that design..

Sooooo fascinating.

Those points have been in fan debates for quite some time. The IOE shouldn't of been omitted from the story since it's been more than alluded to many many times in the main story.

Man.. Berserk is the gift that keeps on giving.. love the discussions.

And the IOE wasn't really omitted was it? It's out there. I know Miura wants to re-reveal it later but what's the point? He can expand on it and make it less vague, but the fans already know about it. He has a lot of questions to answer... Why is Spring so far away?

He took it out since he believed it gave away too much too early. It still very much exists in the story since there's evidence of it everywhere. Even Void states at the Eclipse "The Ungodly God Born of Man."

That's true. I wonder when he'll touch on it again. What arc do you think will start after we're done in elf island? Is it the beginning of the final showdown with Griffith? I feel like it will only come up again if Guts himself interacts with it.

After Casca gets cured, I'm sure the Elf "King" will have something to do with Guts going back to kill Griffith. This time not for vengeance, more so to save the planet.

i wonder how the behelit guts has will be used or the significance of him having it

Is there some theories for that?

IMO he's carrying it for someone else. I don't think he can't use it, since Slan suggested him to use it when she confronted him as pig innards. He's had it too long for it to not be used.

Puck has always been so protective of Bechi throughout the series, snatching him away from Guts and feeding him cheese. :lol

But some think that the Behelit could be used by Casca down the line. Whoever it belongs to, it will end up in their hand when the time is right, all according to whatever fate the IOE assigned to it. I just hope it isn't Guts' travelling party who are sacrificed.

Then again next year will be 20 years since Miura gave us the eclipse. I imagine he has dark **** in store for us in 2017.

It's easy to think it will be Casca, but in doing so she would be turned into a monster. Miura said it wouldn't have a dark ending, and that would be a dark ending so I believe it's for someone else.

Just got mine set up. First impressions? It's well made, but damn does it feel fragile. The hand wrap looked like it was coming off when I was trying to get the Dragonslayer in the fisted hand.

Also the latch that holds the hook on one of his chest straps popped out since they didn't glue it properly. Afraid to even attempt gluing it since I always end up ruining it.

That's not good . Does the figure feel heavy ? Or light and cheap.
