I hope they re-think their decision to only produce 1800 pieces of this figure. Apparently, the people that ordered the figure through WonderFest were informed that the figure was going to release in August. Also, when one asked about the lack of the figure display they were told that they had the prototype in the factory or something, which I find BS.Those listings don't have in-hand pictures on them though. Neither are there any pictures on ThreeZero's official site, Facebook, or Instagram of an actual prototype/production fig, despite the SD Transformers exclusives being on display. Coupled with the fact that ThreeZero is dead silent following the backlash, I wouldn't be surprised if they are reevaluating the rollout of this fig. Hopefully an updated approach to this release will result in as many Berserk fans' being able to acquire it as possible.
Correct, that's what I've been told.Interesting. So those in attendance at WonderFest were only able to secure a pre-order and not the figure itself? Kim never did that when he was half of ThreeA; fans were able to walk out of conventions with their figures in the bag, literally. That makes this Guts's limited quantity feel a little arbitrary. Even if the figures are currently in the middle of assembly, that would suggest that ThreeZero knew they would miss their deadline for WonderFest beforehand. If that is the case, then there was no reason to keep it an event exclusive instead of just rescheduling the already delayed production in order to convert it into a general release and accommodate additional orders from fans around the world. Assuming, of course, that ThreeZero ever intended for attendees to own the figure ASAP. Even if ThreeZero didn't want the figures on-site for reasons, they still could have theoretically completed the edition run by the time WonderFest rolled around, which would simply make it a matter of shipping the figure out as soon as any single attendee secures their order. They might be waiting for the convention circuit to wrap up, but seeing as the edition number is supposedly static and quantities have already been allocated per event, there's really no reason for a release date of July, and therefore, no reason for the figure to be this limited.
Ok so there is hope that this figure will be available to the masses and not just people at cons. Good!I hope they re-think their decision to only produce 1800 pieces of this figure. The only in-hand picture I can find is the one Threezero shared on their website.
Well yes, but actually no.Ok so there is hope that this figure will be available to the masses and not just people at cons. Good!
That is unfortunately true. The people that really want this figure (including myself) will end paying more in order to get it. Simply because the scalpers offered their "services" to find a piece.Damn. They should really rethink this . The only people who will get these will be scalpers
Ah, I hope that Berserker Armor makes its way towards you because it looks freaking amazing.I finally got off my keister and bought volumes one through seven of the hardcover mangas. I think I'm already too late in the game for statues and figures, as the prices are pretty ridiculous. So, I'm just going to focus on the mangas for now. I do have the Berserker Armor figure on wait list from SSC .
I'm crossing my fingers that you, the third son of Big Boss, will have a successful waitlist conversion.
*slowly salutes*

I think their retail price was estimated at 280 USD. I'm quite salty because of this entire situation hahaSo how much were these at Wonderfest'21, Threezero doesn't give any indication on what the price point is, guessing $260 USD? Obviously it wasn't limited to one per since there is several "reliable Chinese sellers" hawking these on eVilbay... or maybe it was 1 per and they use a bunch of proxy-buyers in line to prepurchase?
Regardless, the price on these is just as stupid as the auction for the regular edition someone is selling the 'bay' that is at $400+ currently... stupidly feeds the scalpers... Threezero and all these other companies just need to bump the price on all these plastic dolls to what the scalpers sell them for, price everyone out of the hobby... but some people will always pay whatever the cost...
first world problems...
I don't think they would since it's the same sculpt just re-painted.I hope they didn't ditch the light-up function in the full beast helmet
Man he looks so good. I don’t mind waiting for preorders, but the waiting for a possible chance to preorder is such a pain.Found some photos on Instagram, no idea where they came from they're not even on Threezero's official website/Facebook/Instagram
