well i mentioned about this before, but at least by buying early you don't risk not able to get it close to retail price. if it's a figure you really want i don't see the problem paying more to be safe. like some folks mention they don't wanna wait 3 months just for the price drop.

but those wanting to get them, i suggest wait abit longer price will dip even further.

there are just not that many Berserk fans out there compared to Eva.

:goodpost: you did call this How much you more you think this will go down.

retail most likely will be fixed around this price seeing the trend of Medicom's pricing, it would be unusual that it will get a 60-70% off unless it's really a niche market item like Bakuman. 50% would probably be the lowest it will go.

but don't forget the 2nd hand market, more people will buy up Guts at 60% retail & many will end up selling it off due to impulse purchase. so if you don't mind BIB items that has never been displayed wait for another month or so. current 2nd hand Guts is around 40% off so it will be cheaper for these batch.

anyway now is a good buy if you have the budget. still comes with the 1st release extra head.

i see Medicom Link going the same direction.

If i see medicom link i’ll buy it for that price.

Link is already around the 13000yen mark.

the thing about Medicom is nowadays only Japanese & Asians buy them. Majority western market tend to ignore Medicom while buying up all the Hot Toys & Enterbay & 3A they can get. Medicom's Japan only marketing strategy doesn't help much.

if it were the exact same product but slap on a Hot Toys logo instead of Medicom it'd already sold out & now you need to pay $500 for it.

My Berserker Guts was really bugging me since his torso joint was way too loose. I was able to get the torso off, and I had to use pliers to take the ball joint out, and inside the port where it went I put on a layer of clear polish. It really did the trick, and now he's not all flimsy.

Not difficult at all really. The only tricky part was getting the ball joint out, so I draped a sock on it :lol since I didn't want to risk scratching or breaking it, and then pliers over it and twisted it out.

Hi guys, after years of drooling over Berserk items ( which is my favourite series), I finally started to collect some of my favourite pieces.
Skullknight and Griffith (Hawk Soldier on Horse) were kits which I assembled and painted myself.
I also customized Guts Berserker Armor ( figma) : repaint, and- Guts Black swordsman (gave him a decent cape/hood)
At the moment I've got an independent sculptor working on a comission for a 1/6 Guts, will post later when he updates.

I didnt know they made figures of the manga. Thats crazy since most of these figures havent been animated yet in japan. Wish I knew earlier about these statues.

Art of War has been doing Berserk statues for over a decade. They are always caught up on the manga.

Yeah, theres loads of collectibles from Berserk. The quality of some is not really that impressive, since a lot of them came out more than a decade ago, and Art of War really struggles with faces and likeness.
Having said that, I really dislike the new visual style for the movies. Miura's style is unsurpassable.

Most of these statues from AoW were limited editions. So the prices are way up lately, but some of them are really worth the money
