What didn't you like about the Lost Children arc? I found this to be one of the most underrated arcs in the series.

Can someone confirm if Femto figma is coming this year or early 2017? Looking to pre-order it on eBay and few places say September/October. I'm guessing that's wrong?

It's not that I didn't like it, I just know I enjoyed reading it the least. Maybe I read it too fast, but there wasn't much to it that it was memorable. The story seemed very self contained. The lore about he elves was cool, and I guess the end result of Guts' struggle to kill Rosine (children) added to his story was pretty good. And the holy knights finding him at that moment gave them reason to hunt him. The arc isn't bad and is well paced, but it just doesn't have the same impact as the other arcs. But that might be because it's not even an arc, just a piece of the Conviction arc lol. I forgot that when I wrote my first post. On its own, it's not as great, but as a part of conviction, it's actually really interesting. I like how it's not directly related to the main story, but it's still relevant to the plot.

And BBTS has it listed for March 2017, so yeah, eBay is wrong. I'm checking BBTS and amiami everyday for the rest of the god hand Figma preorders to go up.

Is there a chance that the English publisher of Berserk, Dark Horse, will reprint older volumes? Because I notice some are now hard to find or out of stock direct from amazon, and going for stupid prices on the seller marketplace and elsewhere.

I sold a few volumes last year at a books for cash site, ones that were worn out with yellowed pages and all, for the sole purpose of purchasing brand new ones as replacement. Guess I should have gone full throttle back then 'cos now there's certain volumes I need that are out of stock and I don't know if I'll ever be able to get them.

Maybe with the new anime and the upcoming game, the manga volumes will start selling more and give them a reason to replenish/reprint volumes. Probably doesn't work like that but I can only hope.

The prices on the dark horse volumes seem to fluctuate. I bought all 37 volumes over the course of about a year, but there were always some that were ridiculously overpriced because they were 'out of stock'. But a month or so down the line, the ones that were out of stock were now the ones in stock but some of the ones that used to be in stock are instead out of stock.
Don't ever pay inflated prices for any of those volumes, because they will become in stock, soon enough in my experience

Ugh the first two episodes are literally brutal to watch and episode 2 hits **** city with the scene when Guts meets the Holy Knights. That camera pan was janky and ran at like 15 fps. Made me want to vomit and it looked like a cheap video game cutscene. That being said, I feel as though each episode has gotten better. The last two (not counting today) have been enjoyable. But they needed to get a director who can actually do the series justice rather than use his schizophrenic techniques on something like this.

So the anime is confirmed to be just 12 episodes. Do you think another season is likely after the reception?

If I'm being honest, so far I have only loved one episode which was the fifth one where Guts destroyed all those Kushan warriors and the torture scene. There's rumor that Kentaro himself directed the episode but I can't confirm that.

Wow seriously....? Then it's just the tower of conviction arc.. Get a new studio or director to continue it. Berserk should not be a joke.

I was just about to start the new series. I did not know it's only 12 episodes and thought it was gonna cover the entire manga. Is it still worth watching?
