BEST DECKARD FIGURE EVER thanx to kind eBayers!

Is that the same sculpt and material used in the picture a few posts above? Somehow they look different. It looks very very nice in these pictures. I finally broke down and got an Android Hunter on ebay today ($80 MIB) so I am trying to find a head for it. The Hero Heads sculpt is much nicer than the previous one, but I agree that it doesn't look as much like Deckard as yours, Spenser.

spenser's is the best i've seen. now if i can only find and android hunter that cheap to go with it. where the hell did you get it for $80??!! i've been scouring ebay every day for weeks. mind posting a linky poo?

mindbook, i cry everytime i see that deckard. looks just incredible. and leon is a figure i've wanted for ever. it's one of my top 5 films of all time. i would love to take you up on that android hunter but i'm in the UK. any possibility?

Wow your Deckard is amazing, Mindbook, and that head repaint is as wondrous as ever. I'm relatively new to SSF so I don't know if it's been asked before, but did you cobble together your Deckard's outfit from different figures? and from which?

It was a buy-it-now on ebay. I had a saved search for "android hunter" set up and it came up with it this morning. I figured I probably wouldn't find one cheaper than that, although I think the one I bought only has the one head. I don't really care, since I plan to replace it anyway (now I'm leaning toward Spenser's sculpt, unless Mindbook wants to set me up with one of his heads... )

Anyway, I see that you can get an Android Hunter for $99.98 + reasonable shipping right now on ebay at the link below.

I figured I probably wouldn't find one cheaper than that, although I think the one I bought only has the one head. thanks dude! nice tactics on the saved search. very cunning. congratulations anyway. $80 is a fantastic price and MIB too. i've been itching to pull the trigger on that linked one for a while now. but apparently they're all ex-display without boxes which is putting me off slightly.

if mindbook was to offer his head D), i'd probably have some kind of mental breakdown trying to choose between his and spenser's. both are phenomenal. not just amazing deckards, but amazing figure heads period.

Hey Eighthsamurai, if it helps, I bought an Android Hunter from the ebay seller that icruise linked. No box of course, but it arrived in pretty much mint condition, perfect.

I want to buy a Deckard head from Spenser, but would like to see it on someone's AH first.

I STILL think it is interesting how everyone can't all agree on a Harrison Ford (head sculpt) resemblance(LOL)......I bet if we had a cast of Mr Ford's actual head, and shrunk it down to 1/6 scale, there would always be somebody(or group)saying "nah, I don't see Harrison Ford, it's close though". It reminds me of a story I read in the late comedian/actor Charlie Chaplin's biography "Chaplin once entered a Charlie Chaplin look-a-like contest and, quite humorously, won Second place"

I was also just thinking about that. I'm hoping one of our amazingly talented customizers on the board here will do just that. Cast the Indy head, rework the hair (into an appropriate BESPIN Han AND Rick Deckard), then offer them up to us fellow freaks!

I think its because we are all so familiar with Ford that we each have our own "look" that we want in a sculpt. So it is hard to find that perfect one, especially since he really looks different from role to role.

Mindbook have you got lights in the gun?

Heres a tidbite that i thought you might be intrested in, i noticed that deckard has a pen in his left side shirt pocket. You can see this when he looking at the leons photos on his cool computer.

Ive started to update my android hunter, im on the look out for some new trouser so i hope i can find the ones from DID Charles Winstone figure and finding out which boday suits the andriod hunter best.

Yes, and they do function(as seen in the photo)they are much brighter in person........I just have to finish off the arm(with batteries)and the artery leading to the palm.

Here's my rough schematic.(OOOOPS, I got the + an - mixed up in the drawing from the palm to the gun contact, but you get the idea)
