Once you have your figures, do you really need boxes for them? If so, what should the boxes look like??

Well, I guess I don't "need" boxes, but I'd like to have them for my Deckard and Batty, and eventually Rachel if I am able to get her custom head. I like what you have done wiht the boxes Masao...so I think the boxes should look like yours that you have made. :D

Thanks to Mindbook for getting me the fantastic Android Hunter V.3!
Frigging fantastic!

That was very nice of you and one hell of a smooth transaction!

About the figure: sure, it is a couple of years old, but it is a great starting place for some kick ass customization!

Well, I've had some time to play around with the figure and I am positively surprised.
For such an old figure, it really is very well made. The materials used are very nice (maybe a little thin on the cloth, but with all the layers of clothing that is the way it had to be done). The metal gun looks great, the tailoring of the suit is really good and the alternate headsculpt is excellent. I'm very happy I saw the repaint that really brought out the sculpt, otherwise I would've never thought of getting it.
The DML body is a bit dated, but it still is a solid choice. It is the perfect no-frills body as far as I'm concerned.

All in all it's fantastic to own one of those figures that is basically part of 1/6 lore.
I can still remember when I first saw the Android Hunter figure on the net, it was in the Toysyndicate page (anyone remember that?) and went for an obscene (at the time) amount of money. I said to myself: "Myself, you're never going to be able to get one of those". Besides, the HS sucked big hairy monkey balls. And some 8 years later here I am, owning one of these figures and looking forward to having that HS repainted into perfection.

that's awesome abake. i can't wait to get mine now. can't wait even more for spenser's head. i think it's going to look incredible. i'm usually very very patient over custom stuff. but not this time. i just want my spenser deckard on my desk right now.

wanna see somethin really cool??

BEST. THING. EVAR!!

holy moly that's nice!!! did spense do you one with hair? i wonder if he's still doing them and if i should get mine changed. that thing is incredible - i doubt anyone will be able to top that for a deckard head

Do I ever!
Now I'm thinking of getting one of those... :D

I you can find one, don't hesitate (Spensers sculpt -I believe he mentioned going to make a Batty - will be superior), but it is well worth for the coat.

No fun without the Batty :)

A Batty just ended a couple days ago on ebay for around $110 shipped... seems around there is the going rate. Not 100% worth the money for the quality of the figure, but still an important one to have IMO.

I'm biased but it is one of my favorite figures. I got mine two years ago for $60.

Galactiboy, have you already switched the Roy body?
I am planning to also do this, just don't know which body is best (I think a standard Sideshow one will do, but like to hear other opinions)

Finally got a replacement body... its a buck, but not sure which figure it is from. But looks better although its a tad shorter (maybe 1/4") than the original body. However, the pants fit better... no more highwater and of course the hands are a huge improvement (although I plan to repaint them to match).
