The first time I saw the Obi and Maul saber fighting clip, I watched it again and again on the computer - I'd never seen anything that cool.

Now 'fast' light saber flighting is old hat....

Here's a fan "trailer" using L.V. Beethoven's music entitled Star Wars Saga Story.

IMO, one of the best fan trailers out there. VERY fitting choice of music.
Includes some footage rarely used that is intercut very dynamically.

Some of these fan trailers are cool video clips, but I wouldn't regard any of them as successful trailers.

To me, a trailer should give you a sense of the story you're going to watch.

A true trailer for the SW saga should highlight Anakin's story, the Sith and Jedi, the Rebellion vs. Empire and Luke's story and do so in a way that gives you a rough idea what those stories are about and makes you want to watch for the details.

But also remember, because of Star Wars we have the great trailers that we have now, before TPM trailers were horrible, and it really brought the time when people would go see a movie just to see a specific trailer at the beginning.

That was pretty well cut together, almost a good starting point, but unless you know the films already, it doesn't give you much of an idea what the story is about.
