#3, Verycool set. When I put the shirt on the body and then the head, he has a really short neck for some reason.

I got the head and body separately but for some reason the neck seems shorter than yours and I was wondering if you used a different body or if anyone who has the Tony Stark figure knew if it was the right length.

I think that looks exactly like it should. I bought a second body to make the same look when the verycool set came out, and that's how mine looks. I love the look of any Tony using this body; I think it might be their best proportioned body.
I only bought the shirt from the verycool set; are those the jeans from the same set in your pic? He looks great!

When I attached the Tony Stark head to the Tony Stark body w/ the VeryCool shirt on him, the neck seems a lot shorter than yours... How did you keep the neck looking normal length?

What body and neck peg are you using? If you use the HT Stark body with a long neck peg you'll get the right proportions. If you use the short peg (like the one that comes with the Armor Test sculpt) he'll have turtle neck

Yes, I love the jeans from that set. Great material, cuffed at the bottom, loved that set! With the chest light underneath, the painted arc reactor on the shirt wasn't necessary, haha, but had I used a different body like before, it looked awesome.

I used the neck peg that came with the head and the body (both were the same size). I used the HT Tony Stark body. I tried putting on a longer neck peg from my spare TTM21 parts, but it won't fit into the Tony head nor the neck so I just stuck with what it came with. I'm guessing there were 2 neck pegs that came with the set and I ended up getting the same ones?

HT makes two sizes in neck pegs; long and short. I’m not sure why yours isn’t fitting into the sculpt because they all have the same size balls; only the length varies between the two.

The one that is included in the Armor Testing Tony is the short one. I only bashed 1 Stark so I haven't experimented with a lot of combinations but what I found was the MK IV head with a short neck peg on the Armor Test/Mechanic body sat too low. I forgot what long peg I used (DX10, Cap,....) but they're all the same so it doesn't matter. The peg goes into the MK IV sculpt fine but I couldn't get it to snap in properly into the body. I'm sure I could with a blow dryer, more time and patience but it's working fine as is. It's stuck together by friction and I can still pose it even though it's not snapped into the body. The long peg gives the sculpt the right height to not appear no-necked

^^^ Okay thanks. Yeah, the one I have from Armor Testing Tony is the shorter one. The TTM21 neck peg that I have is longer but the ball is lslightly larger and therefore won't fit into the neck. I even tried heating everything in boiling water to "soften" it a bit but it wouldn't fit in so I'm stuck with the shorter neck peg. It's not bad at some angles, but compared to Neo's picture, his Tony's neck looks a lot longer.

Added some new pictures @dwkungfustar.blogspot.com. Here are some. Cheers!

Yikes, which did you have on PO?

The reviews I've read said stated neither suit had the color accurate to the film, but that the SuperDuck suit fit much more like a racing suit that the other. Wish Hot Toys would do this properly :lol

it's one of the dodgy place in Mong Kwok actually beneath Hot toy's secret base. From what i heard the shop keeper was so shady that they requested who ever pre ordered the body to make the transaction in the metro station instead of the shop....

Got some parts today and among them were the bracelets for Tony! Sorry for the terrible pic, I was in a rush. Just a stand and one more accessory and I'm calling this guy complete!

Nice bash.. What body did you use for the mark vii head? I was going to use my spare ttm21(reg body) but he suffers from no-neck.. Someone said use a ttm 22 neck peg and the body I have is fine, but yours look good

You scored the Asmus bracelets loose?

I’ve been having a hard time finding them seperately

Toy Anxiety, $7, two sets left.:hi5:

I have the same problem, my head is just sitting on there with bluetack. :gah: The body I used was a knockoff narrow-shoulder. :wink1:

Not really sure as I really only do pre-orders with SS. I've only ever ordered from them for in stock stuff. I found this on their site or you can just give them a call to be sure..

"What about Pre-Orders? How does that work?
These days, most manufacturers preview new products months in advance of their arrival and we begin taking orders as soon as the announcements are out. Some items even sell out months before they are ready to ship, so placing a pre-order is a great way to “get in line” early and not be disappointed. Each Pre-Order item has an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) provided by the manufacturer. Those are rough guidelines, not firm promises, and often do change.

When you spot items you know you want to get, we're happy to take your advance orders and keep track of them for you. Higher priced items may require a non-refundable deposit, but other than those, you are not expected to pay until you are notified that the item is ready to ship. If it helps your budgeting, you are welcome to make advance payments on your pre-orders or you can give us a credit card to bill when it’s time to ship. Once you are notified that your pre-order is ready to go, we give you up to two weeks to complete the payment, but cannot guarantee items longer than that. We consider Pre-Orders a “firm” order, just like an order of in-stock merchandise, and count on you to pay promptly.

Note that orders that contain both In-Stock and Pre-Order items will be split with separate shipping charges applied. When possible we will combine items arriving near the same date."
Never PO'd through them, what's their policy?
