For the price, i think it's about same to eFX retail?

Not sure if the material used is better or what, but unless you can prove that they did copy it from eFX/MR, i doubt you can sue them for copying, maybe Disney can sue him for infringements of copyright material but i doubt by just selling 1 custom unfinished helmet can get them into trouble.

Some people just looking for custom instead of company released ones, most of the time for custom projects, since it's a pity to use original ones.

From a Toy company point of view that is definately bad, but from customer point of view, it gives more options.

eFX got the molds for the MR CE Stormtrooper helmet from MR. That is no discussion about it. Check out Rebelscum forums and you'll find that yourself. And even if someone wouldn't have the time to read threads on another forum, one can simply look at the prop's details and make a comparison.

When I talk about Stormtrooper helmets I know a few things... That is a clear recast of the MR CE/eFX PCR, and there is even a thread on FISD in the recasting area of the forum about this particular ebay seller too.

As for unlicensed Star Wars helmets, indeed many go for fan made ones because they are more accurate. But this is not about the fan made/unlicensed helmets, but about the recast ones. The terms seem to be similar, but in fact they are not.

I was right to be weary of this seller. They have now been removed by ebay. How do they think they can get away with this? Even if I did pay via paypal, I would have got my money back, eventually.
